blizzard is not stupid I think they will add some nice features in it regardless whether it's just 5 chars or not. Maybe they will put more WOW elements in it..hmm

Diablo is a scary game especially for Diablo 1 because your going at it by yourself.

Getting to play the story with a friend at the same time is kewl and won't make the game boring and repetitive because now you got someone to team work with. Also if your not too fond of scary games like i am, now it should be alright 

What i find curious though is how this works. If a lv 1 friend character in Act 1, wants to join a LV 30 character friend in Act 2, how would that be possible 

So the low level friend would be missing out on Act 1, and also be playing in an Act with much more powerful demons.
Diablo is considered a mmorpg i heard because you can have many players play online together in a virtual world. I hope they improved on this for players being able to play story mode together. I have my hopes up because Blizzard said multiplayer seems to be the focus on Diablo 3.

So is diablo 3 being released this or next year if that is the case 

World stone being destroyed is going to be the big part of Diablo 3 there is no doubt in that.

Lord of Destruction may still be alive because his partial shard that went missing had no mention that it was successfully destroyed or not.

As for Tyrael being corrupted i don't know. Did it happen ? Because i can't remember the ending too well

Barbarian - Weapon master can equip all armor and combat weapons. Dual wielding claymores and also dual wield giant axes.

Witch Doctor - Lord of destruction in summary    He will cast sickness, and numb your mind while he conjures more magic to inflict pain on you. Oh he can also summon demons as well   

Amazonian - Master of projectiles like spears, and bows. Also a good quarter staff fighter. Has good hand to hand combat as well.

Paladin - Masters of aura, healing and armed combat.

Warrior Mage - Mages who are half warriors. Able to wield arm combat weapons and cast spells.

Druid - Mastered the power of nature and transformation. Ultimate ability is to transform into a powerful dragon with diamon hard scale armor and fiery breath to fight the demon horde.
Any other ideas ?

remysix & Mikelee - Yeah .... it's hard because these are some of the most obvious to use.

To keep it simple the types of classes would be based on either

1. armed combat

2. magic
The classes would have 1 or the other or both.
Mike i too liked Necro, but it seems that witch doctor is playing the necromancers role in Diablo 3. If they added in a Necro their abilities would be too similar.

my friend had a melle necro last time. 0 skills on summon, pump vit, carry polearms...

he did it the barb-way, successful was his char. but that was version 1.05 or below.

Ninja with samurai sword which has fire or lighting elements. Whoa, so cool!
However not sure what kind of armory they would wear.

Don't forget smoke bombs to confused enemies!
