The meat chunks and blood disappears after a while though, which some hardcore D2 players are not happy about, a reason maybe due to limited system resource when the amount of meat chunks/blood/skeleton starts to stack, which may strain older systems.

... Want to blood and dead bodies there always? It'll not only burden older system, high-end rigs also suffer lol. Lets see about around 1k dead bodies on the map (hot-spot) and blood splashing everywhere, wonder how much FPS will drop  sweat.gif .

And most FPS (1st person shooter) game will fade out the bullet holes on wall, etc.

You're only going to stress your rig more and more if all those detailed things was there...
FPS will drop and you'll need at least 8GB of RAM or an High end Graphic card already. doh.gif

I hope all those minions dissappear rather than stay there for nothing.. doh.gif

actually i dont think d2 players will be angry. This is because in diablo II, ppl are having problem with this reason. Its not the computer that can handle the meatchunks, bloods, sprites etc but it's the network. Ppl are always recreating pvp games if there are too much "leftover" assasin traps at the entrance of the town due to assasin spamming traps. It seems that the diablo ii engine have a hard time synchronizing. Battlenet players will know what im talking about smile.gif

I'm merely stating that some D2 players since i have browse a few forums, and read some of the posts, it's not my complain anyway, and I also posted one of the possible reasons behind it, hence my post. doh.gif

There is a hi-res button below the picture viewer, when you open up a picture from the thumbnails in official Blizzard website.

PC Gamer US December 2010 has a preview on Diablo 3.

"Can breakdown armor and weapons to raw materials to create / make other items."

Interesting.

Aside from Hellgate, Guild Wars also uses the concept of breaking down armor and weapons for raw materials.
