Not to dissapoint gamers who eagerly waiting for the game but judging from Blizzard past experience they will polish the game until its perfect. Therefore do not be surprised if it came out at 2010.

Blizzard like to entertain the masses not only the enthusiast (CRysis), therefore i seriously doubt you need a killing rig to play this game effectively.
Rember that RPG games has the most high record of bugs compared to other genre. Look at games like oblivion, witcher, neverwinter nights series
you will get the picture. The reason why Diablo has so many fans it is the (gameplay) not graphics. Wait patiently lo.

I have encountered websites that petition against Diablo 3 developer that its graphic (environment, animation, arts, movies) are too "bright".
They want a darker atmosphere & ambience like Diablo 2. (50000++ of supporter)
What do you guys think ?
I like the new innovated graphics though (still waiting on the dialogue session) whistling.gif

Regarding the "bright" environment there is news from blizzard
"Blizzard is looking for a new Art Director for Diablo III. The job posting was recently made and has already generated a lot of buzz as to whether or not the art direction for the anticipated RPG would change. Some Diablo fans have criticized the art direction as looking too bright and colorful, even going so far as to create an online petition for Blizzard to change the direction."

I wonder they will go back to the original art direction (hope not sad.gif ) cause that will further delay the game progress.
I mean the new graphics was not that bad, is it ? hmm.gif

Well the designer of Diablo 3 has a very interesting composition :
"Diablo III's lead designer is Jay Wilson, a former Relic Entertainment designer credited with work on Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Company of Heroes. Its lead world designer is Leonard Boyarsky, one of the six co-creators of Fallout."

One its a Space fantasy , while the other a post nuclear wasteland. I can't click the "two" of them together.
The lead designer for diablo series went to create Hellgate London, a shame.

I have found a note here at gamespy :
MTV Multiplayer today posted a story in which Diablo III Lead Designer Jay Wilson states that although the upcoming title will bring the story line to a full conclusion, other Diablo projects are being planned. This quote sums it up:
"We're not saying this is the end of the 'Diablo' universe, but we are trying to bring this storyline to a close," Wilson said. "It's not just 'Diablo III' -- we've got plans beyond."
Of course, it is likely to be a number of years before Blizzard fans will get a sniff of what might be expected from future games set in this universe.

I'm really interested what they have in mind (apart from other blizzard titles : starcraft, warcraft, WOW).
I always have this crazy idea where they incorporate warcraft as an RPG title (well you got elves = amazon, human = paladin, undead = necromancer, orcs = barbarian). Just a thought, don't flame here ya tongue.gif

You know what makes people "addicted" to this game, its very simple : The treasure looting system.
You can go on exploring dungeons with multiple level hoping to slay the boss in that area hoping to get some legendary loot.
Finally when you get one you decided to sold it bcos it lack slight attributes like Defence -2.
Then you go on searching for another lair with same motive & predictable outcome.

Another prime example would be World of Warcraft (another blizzard game) There are people :
- get fired from respective jobs bcos took too much unpaid leaveto play
- broke all their savings to buy equipment from other gamers
- ever hear of adult diapers, they eat , answer their call of nature & playing at the very same table.
Luckily this euphoria has not invade Malaysia yet (its already running rampant in US) like Walmart not entering into malaysia market yet or else you will not hear jusco, tesco, giant, mydin or carrefour doing biz anymore. It is still Dota here.
