For a game that's far away, don't tell me you won't upgrade in that time

TBH, D2 got mind-numbingly repetitive very quickly
Hopefully D3 will have more variety. |

Yeah WoW is huge for them, but the D3 team is reportedly pretty big too. Most likely the $$$ from WoW is giving them room to pump resources into D3, SC2 and their future MMO.
I wonder how big this thread can get, since we got maybe 2 years to talk about it before it comes out. |

That's just silly, why would they delay one whole year not to overlap games. They can easily afford to release their games in Spring.

QUOTE(NecrosavaNt @ Sep 3 2009, 06:51 PM) i read an interview somewhere that its gonna be a ranged class. but it wont be the traditional straight shot kind. more like lobbed ranged attacks... Sounds cool.I remembered a few of the PS2 diablo clones had a character who would specialize in thrown attacks and traps. Of course they are usually badly implemented, and they suck when you got teammates who just mow down the mobs before you set up your traps and bombs. Probably better if they just rolled that gameplay into an existing class like witch doctor. |

QUOTE(Fatimus @ Sep 3 2009, 11:53 PM) Bard can be serious and dark, and it is just not about singing like a pansy. Sounds like some kind of Gothic Ranger Bard Bard in RPG can wield swords and bows, which will offer a sense of balance for someone who wants to wield both. Like druid, bard can also call on nature to counter monsters. |

Based on that screenshot, does that mean Battle.net will have subscription cost?
