Good news guys I managed to contact a friend who just cobbled up a bunch of players to form a team, and is inviting me to cobble up a bunch of players to for a team for a friendly with them. They're a bunch of 30-somethings, I think... mostly social players like ourselves so standards should be about the same.

It's THIS Saturday evening; they've reserved the field along with ref and linesmen. Costs to be shared... about RM150 / team. Spaces are limited to 14-15 players only so add your names in.

Cool! Where will you be doing it? As far as i know, KKB is one of the more famous river to do rafting.

I did that once and it was one hell of an experience. There was this particular hair raising experience when our raft kinda got stucked between rocks in a damn strong rapid and we were like clinging for our lives with the water gushing by. Luckily the experienced guide kinda make sure we were safe by transferring us to another raft.
