I thought you guys had 18 fellas that is confirmed? Damn, i was at home one whole freaking morning not knowing what to do. I should have just dropped by to kick some balls.

Cool! Where will you be doing it? As far as i know, KKB is one of the more famous river to do rafting.

I did that once and it was one hell of an experience. There was this particular hair raising experience when our raft kinda got stucked between rocks in a damn strong rapid and we were like clinging for our lives with the water gushing by. Luckily the experienced guide kinda make sure we were safe by transferring us to another raft.

Couple of years back, i use to have Muslim friends playing futsal with us at like 6pm in the evening, and fasting month is always notorious with the hot weather. We played 2 hours non stop, and half way during the game, my friend would stop for a while, go to sembahyang around 7 something, and then continue playing with us for a while. After the game ends at 8pm, he would go back and makan.

And he's not exactly the type of players who just walk around the court and wait for the ball to reach him. He's one of those runners who's all over the court.

I'm putting myself back to pending list. Ankle is hurting a lil after i landed badly in a futsal game yesterday.

Well the scoreline may look bad but lets not forget that this is a scratch team made out of players who might not even know each other. You guys need to built up the understanding as a team.

Again, be thankful i wasn't playing, else it might have been 10-1 instead.

You must utilise your burst of speed and pace against the opposition. Maybe you should have put a note to your mates to try more thru passes or flick the ball that would enable you to burst away. Never attempt to dribble excessively when you're playing the lone striker.

Mike,
I can see heikal is still on pending list, so potentially we could only have 16 person and that is everyone comes. Imagine 1 or 2 FFKers, that would be disastrous. I really hope someone can bring like 5-6 last minute extra players. I'm trying to convince the futsal gang to help out abit.

Last thing i wanna do is to wake up at 7am and get ready myself. Drive from Klang to SS3 only to find out its cancelled coz not enuff players. That would really piss the hell out of me.

Good suggestion. I think i'm bringing my futsal shoes just in case we really end up playing futsal. But problem is, futsal arenas are normally opened like 11am and above.

But anyways, i'm looking forward to play football more than futsal tomorrow. Wanna work that boots of mine who's sitting inside the cabinet for over 2 years, having used them only 3-4 times so far. As Mike says, we can play with the smaller goal post, something like a 7 a side or something.

It was raining quite heavily even in Klang. I was awaken by mike's SMS around 6 something and thought its a bad idea to play in a soaked pitch and there was even lightning.

We're just unlucky. Is there a chance at all that we play in the evening? I think the weather is gonna be hot thruout the day till 5 something, then we can play.

You already did a great job in contacting those which you have contact inside your phone. Thankfully you sent me a SMS.

Anyways, i would suggest those who're first time joining the football gang, to at least post up your phone numbers here so that in case any last minute cancellations, the organiser can contact you. Or even for those who played before but not in touch with any of the organisers, at least post your contact number. I think mike or anyone else won't mind storing your contact inside his phone.
