Behold the mighty dwarf warrior, Thargas Anvilmar!!!!!
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « These shots were done with a combination of things: the Nikon D40, the Nikkor 105mm VR and the Nikon R1C1 kit. Shots were taken at ISO200, shutter speed of 1/200 and aperture of f/4. The flashes were fired from the right-hand side of Encik Anvilmar and also top-left of Encik Anvilmar. One of the shots unfortunately, forgot to put backdrop |

My one no flash, low light somemore
![]() Forget shutter speed. F8 and ISO400 if not wrong.. ISO800 is just too noisy.. Don bother the composition. I just use it as the test of blurred background. This post has been edited by temptation1314: Aug 26 2008, 12:23 AM |

Er what I mean is, you see his background (referring to his whole gallery), you can't tell whether the wall is near to you or not, its like an empty space at the back.
aih.. dunno how to explain |

I am back....TMNT!
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I do notice that Raphael is not as sharp in the group shots. Maybe I should have gone with an aperture higher than f4. What do you think? @tempt haven't tried the green background with the dwarf yet. Didn't find a green foam mat yet to serve as my backdrop |

macro and micro are both correct terms actually, Nikon call their macro lens as micro lens, Canon uses macro instead
