QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jul 17 2008, 09:32 PM) Aiyoh, hold your hammie lah. Anyway, on Monday I'm free and I stay near Wangsa Maju. If you want me to see your hammie to determine whether normal or satin also can. monday still on right? Your pic very hard to see.... I see more setup than fur. What? Why can't find? Jusco Wangsa Maju got lah. Is the highest floor.... where they sell the household items... not supermarket or clothes section tau..... Last time I bought, biggest is like 2ft storage box by Felton brand, about RM29.90.... Added on July 17, 2008, 9:34 pmAh.... I never mention silicon cat litter.... that is a different kind of cat litter and it is harmful for hamsters coz it sticks to cheek pouches and into the genitals.... We taking about the normal cat litter type, which is the grey sand type like hamster sand, only it is meant for cats. Got clumping and non-clumping..... I think Jusco a lil more expensive right? Carrefour cheaper. Oh yea, i just bought crickets! |

QUOTE(anderyna @ Jul 20 2008, 11:58 AM) QUOTE(Jamien @ Jul 20 2008, 12:01 PM) Sigh... The news is so unexpected.... hope he's doing well at hamster heaven now. May he rest in peace... At least he had an owner like you who loved him very much and saved him from a petshop before he left... by the way, are there any other sources of protein besides mealworms and crickets? My mom now blaming the crickets & mealworms for his death. |

QUOTE(IcedNyior @ Jul 20 2008, 03:21 PM) so sad to hear about your hammy neshie im very worried about giving fresh food coz it attract ants la. My ww only nibbles a bit then just leaves it hidden under the bedding. should i only feed it fresh food in another cage? QUOTE(hazzy @ Jul 20 2008, 03:38 PM) QUOTE(mikelim2020 @ Jul 20 2008, 04:11 PM) QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jul 20 2008, 05:38 PM) Really shocking news. Sigh, Ocha was a very handsome sable banded. RIP to him loh. Poor boy, from your description, he could have suffered a stroke.... 2 things in my mind. One would be heat stroke and one would be normal stroke. Heat stroke normally the hamster would be wet around the mouth and neck.... normal stroke no wetness but it usually is seen in older hamsters. He will rest in peace! hehe. burried him in a 'mini-coffin' made out of paper and loads of tissue+hay and some kuaci. Cooked chicken and eggs. The crickets and mealworms don't cause such deaths wan.... LOL... your mom will faint if she knew what I have LOL. But then it really takes up alot of time. I barely have any free time loh. But for you, getting one more is ok lah. Not so bad mah. @crazymouse his mouth and neck area not wet so i dun think it's heat stroke >< Hmm, cooked chicken n eggs, tqtqtq. My mom knows what u have, but still she buat tak tahu. ahahaha. QUOTE(Jamien @ Jul 20 2008, 03:23 PM) It will be ok. I finish college dy and I still managed to take care of my pets well. Just that during exam time may not have energy or time to spend with it an hour a day lo. Lol, dunno when will get another one. see lah if i so happen to fall in love with any hamsters. XDWhen you wanna get one I pui you yar? Hehe... Plus it's just one mar. How much time it needs. Me gotta divide my time in 4 just for pets now. im sure i'll have time wan lorrr. |

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jul 21 2008, 09:46 PM) I told you to take LOL.... but of course robos are never as nice to handle like syrians. my mom dun let ma. Now my house like syrian house liao. Today tried breeding my syrians. I got 2 females on heat but damn picky with their suitors. 1 sable banded female doesn't want any of my males to breed with her. Ok lah, her suitors are all handsome hammies, got 1 big cinnamon, got black banded, 1 long haired umbrous and another smaller cinnamon. She didn't want any. 2nd female was so damn funny. She is a solid mink, short haired. What happen was that she really liked the black banded. Stood still for him with her butt up for mating. The black banded mated for like 2 seconds then he got no interest in her anymore. She stood still for him for another 5 minutes but he never showed interest. Then ok lah, change suitor.... give her big cinnamon.... he was too excited that he mated the wrong way.... the umbrous also never show interest. Sigh..... all the colours compliments the female's colour but none also successful. Will try again tomorrow hahaha. When successful dun forget to tell us.. hehe |

QUOTE(Jamien @ Jul 27 2008, 10:05 PM) Roche is like her cute lil self, as usual. But Ferro ar, his fur really growing long. And I think he can't manage his fur properly. wah.. what bedding u use woh? i forgot dy. hahaha.Yesterday I carry him that time I noticed his fur had something that looks like a matt with a lil shavings and a lot of fur. I tried combing the matt but it didn't work so end up I snip it away with scissors. Lucky just a small chunk at his outer fur. On your birthday I bring a hammie for you lo. Your parents won't refuse qua. He's tame now? hehe, nvm baaa. |
