For me, i have to fork out like 4870+a silverstone st56f PSU to provide enuf juice for 4870. Ppl have their own reason for going 4850+cooler.

abit low on fps becos of 2gb ram and average proc. Currently at clock 690/1050, no lockups during the test, but got once like i think the monitor out of sync or wat u say no signal awhile then cont back in between the interval of 2 tests.

my most stable clock is 690/1050, i think my PSU provide not enuf juice lo lolz.

50% fan speed is OWNAGE haha. Around 2k-3k RPM i assume, that's loud

i think 4850 got big headroom for overclocking, mine can oc stable 690/1050, more than that i think my PSU not enuf juice, becos no artifact but will suddenly like blackout no signal, then VPU recover.

anyone tried the DNA 8.6 driver? I am using the driver come with 4850, seem like 8.6 hotfix is not stable at all for me.

the new batch should be around rm100 more i think becos slightly overclocked and aftermarket cooler. Should be fine to grab em as got oc and better cooler. Anyhow, i managed to oc my sapphire to 690/1050 rock stable after 3-4hrs or gaming( team fortress 2, Age of COnan). SHould be able to get 700/1100 but my PSU not enuf juice and i lazy exchange my psu with my fren becos the stupid big typhoon vx installation time is whooping 2-3hrs due to the space of my casing is damn confine.

i will try it, i saw a review of 8.7 is getting better fps.

Great news, the new beta driver is giving me 500 increase in Vantage GPU score and around 300-400 increase in the vantage score

havent try yet. Now trying age of conan.

Age of conan still cannot fully ultilized my GFX at 100% where crysis or other game can do so. But little performance increase by feel as it is smoother than before. It is like with 8xAA edge-detect, it is some where like when i am using 8.6 4xAA.

before i know about tomshardware, i was reading anandtech article and reviews since geforce 1 era. But then, anandtech article is much more slower than tomshardware, so now i always look at both sites Any 9.7 beta tester other than me? Just grab it off the Latest Update forum in lowyat.net.
