Why not. just get the graphic u need and try it out 1st...
as long as u got 2 x pci power connector. try out 1st... if u feel your PSU cant supplier enough juice...only u upgrade ur PSU... and this 4800 thread has become...PSU thread pulak. |

QUOTE(danieljoey @ Jul 14 2008, 06:23 PM) I have done tons of survey on the net... and it seems that full system load with 4870 is about 350-450w only.. This should make u feel confident then....depends on the hardware... So i think it should be ok la... Im using 535W HD 4850 CF Mode with Vantec Ion2 500 watt |

reference cooler no prob....
notice it happen because tat guy take away the reference cooler heatsink. (the one connect to the heat pipe) left the red plate which stick on the ram and mosfet...and install 3rd party cooler. to cool the main GPU Thus left the ram and mosfet cool with a plate of metal with no fin... guess tats the reason.. |

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Jul 17 2008, 11:14 PM) hi...just read thru the GUIDE...something wierd. if i select the use look-up table in RBE i can flash it... it'll show No VBios Image found... Therefore i adjust "Use Transfer Function" with Tmin 45c / Tmax 105c to achive 30%+ fan spd around 50-60c... i'm kinda blur with the clock setting.. i try do some setting with original 4870 bios.. it just cant flash.. same thing "Vbios Image Not Found" This post has been edited by daze: Jul 18 2008, 09:56 AM |
