Dr. Choong Kwai Fatt is planning to conduct Intensive Revision Class for Advanced Taxation on 8 to 11 November, tentatively the location will be in SEGI college KL and the price charged is RM 280 for 3 days.

So for those who will take this paper for this coming sitting,i would strongly recommmend u to atttend as the exam technique could guide and help you to pass.Please let your friend know also.

which college i should choose? Sunway or TARC...
which college's lecturer better or the passing rate higher? any idea? n wat is the cost for both college...Of course i know tht Sunway is much much more exp...but can i know the actual cost?

I think we have a tendency for missing the whole point, as ACCA students generally. I've begun to hear strange things about what people think of ACCA.

Some start to say that they now find ACCA very much a commodity, at least amongst fellow auditors. For ACCA students who went straight to the tuition centers without degree (aka CAT-ACCA programme), they've been known to lack presentation ability. (broad generalization)

PwC for instance, from what I heard, prefers Australian/UK graduates over M'sia ACCA (sunway or not, makes no difference to them). So actually, in all honesty whether you are from Sunway or not should logically make no difference.

I personally suspect the reason being, pure ACCA students have a strange view of the world. As if the world owes them things...

Now, I am not saying ACCA is bad. Just it's Malaysian students generally aren't as good as overseas grads at speaking english, and given our ACCA culture of spoonfeeding by lecturers, we aren't the best at research either.

So, in a dynamic environment, we generally aren't really the best equipped to deal with it, (living and thinking skills wise).

(Again this is just a broad generalization on what people have told me of what they think of ACCA grads, especially SPM-CAT-ACCA ones, so if you feel offended, I'm very sorry)

After hearing the news of Dr.Choong coming to Sunway, most of my friends already make decision take P6. Before that, still hovering between optionals.  I guess he really have a huge influence to future P6 students!

u mean subscription fees? the due date is over already for ACCA subscription fees. And they removed the button to pay by credit card in website already. Think u need to mail them for infomation on how to pay. You cannot just send in the bank draft.

Come on this looks like a marketing ploy.  Experience comes from volume as indicated by the experience curve theory that exist in P3.

In this case, who has more volume would probably have more experience in lecturing the paper. Sunway would have more volume since they are the largest in town when it comes to ACCA student numbers.  Lecturer are exposed a lot more than other lecturers.

Plus if these other locations are strong, shouldn't the platinum status be awarded to them too for producing results that are outstanding?

My suggestion, talk to a live students and get a feedback from most of the other students first.

Suggested lecturers in this forum are as usual an opinion of 1 or 2 students.  Each student has their own style of learning which may and may not suit the lecture style.

You should find out if the lecture style fits your style before yu decide.

As you can see that there is a balance amount of (+) and (-) for each lecturer = implies that some fit the style and some don't.
