If both side line also not good, the game will lag like hell one, if u can get NAT=Type 1 in PS3 connection test, then it will be more smooth.

U need to set ur modem to bridge mode first then set ur PS3 internet to PPPOE, after the test connection u will get NAT=Type 1.
U can ask or refer the guide for how to enable bridge mode at >>> http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/313340
