the adapter is not expensive le...
try ask shop if they want to sell the adapter off to you or not. last time my ds adapter got fried up, some shop is willingly to sell me the original adapter. it cost me rm50, not sure about wii's one thought. maybe around rm100-120 according to play-asia but they are selling japan adapter. since you have a transformer, guess it wont hurt buying a japanese adapter.
