This is how it goes , i just borrowed a Wii from a friend and i got it all out in a messy packing bag , then i setup everything accordingly to its assigned plugs , and then i turned on the main power switch and i heard a " pop " and im not sure where it came from whether its the nintendo adapter or the Wii itself.
After checking awhile i notice i didnt use the 240w converter (WTFFFF!!!) , so i wanna know does the Nintendo adapter takes the hit for the machine or both got hit ?
thx.

sweat.gif Feel kinda stupid now, never notice the converter when i was unpacking.

how much for the adapter ? better than buying the whole thing back for half the price , somemore the owner wants to sell it.

the adapter is not expensive le...
try ask shop if they want to sell the adapter off to you or not.

last time my ds adapter got fried up, some shop is willingly to sell me the original adapter. it cost me rm50, not sure about wii's one thought. maybe around rm100-120 according to play-asia but they are selling japan adapter. since you have a transformer, guess it wont hurt buying a japanese adapter.

Price is RM100 @ Play-Asia. click here

as long as there is a adaptor between yr Wii and AC Main Power.
most probably yr Wii is safe frm any failure.

swap the 110V with 240V adaptor for the Wii and try power-on. Should be working fine.

If you are a bit crafty, you can solder the wire on the Wii end to a 12V power source, like a PC power supply. icon_rolleyes.gif That's how I got my N64 and GameCube alive after a kid neighbour blew up both of them.

You mean you will use back the some power connector to the Wii but just solder the wire to a 12V power adapter?

Do they have fuse in the adapter? If they do replacing the fuse will do.
