i just got myself a new sub and wondered if it can be placed on some sort of shelf/raised platform/base to enable easy cleaning of the foor underneath considering the strong vibrations from the sub.

its a CHT-10R.

I don't think A&L will give you display unit and claim its a new one. Just not their style. Maybe the scratch is from factory. All my items from A&L come in a sealed box. Anyway....enjoy dude. Good choice thumbup.gif

that may be so. But i noticed one difference when they delivered the replacement sub and that is the sub's rubber feet were installed in front of me whilst the first one already had rubber feet installed.

Ha! Ha! Tried already la... I think even my lights also all rattling already..

maybe you need bass traps to reduce the boomy sound causing the rattling.

My curtain already 3 layers. 1 Normal curtain, 1 sheer, 1 blackout.
Sofa, 1 only.
Then, the whole house empty except dining table and chair. HA! Ha! Ha!

i think putting in bass traps and acoustic panels will help a lot. the empty hard surfaces are reflecting too much sound energy especially low frequencies

you need to do something like this:

Is there such a thing as 'optimum' sized sub for a particular room size? Or is it the more power the better?
