Anyone know where I can get the latest VX62 Series LCD from ViewSonic?
http://www.ap.viewsonic.com/my/pr/show.php?id=26

Found nowhere in Low Yat and I have called to local distributors but they said they don't carry this model into Malaysia. sweat.gif

But it's weird I saw the news from InTech The Star (http://star-techcentral.com/tech/story.asp?file=/2008/7/31/prodit/1659170&sec=prodit) and ViewSonic Brochure in All IT. rolleyes.gif

Hi guys, i'm looking for a 19" widescreen for general use. Came accross the Viewsonic VX1940w with good reviews. Is it a good buy or are there better options? Keep the price tag below RM700.  smile.gif

ViewSonic VX1962wm is the upgraded version of this, retailing at RM699.

But still found no way to get this model. icon_question.gif
Not in Low Yat, not from ViewSonic Authorized distributors. rclxub.gif

Hmm, thats weird. Already released but not available.

I dont see much difference in the upgraded model except the increased contrast ratio.  hmm.gif

Other than Contrast Ratio, it designs difference and with additional built-in speakers.
I saw brochure from Low Yat, VX1940w selling RM685.
So with additional RM14, u can get an upgraded ver. smile.gif

I think HP 19" LCD monitor is pretty reliable, price is about RM8++ if you can afford.

Yeah, which exact model of HP 19" LCD you're referring to?
Can support up to 1680x1050 (with pixel pitch 0.243mm)?

So far only found 3 models can support 22" resolution in 19".
VX1940W, VX1960wm and Asus VW198T.

heya all,

after taking a looking at my 2232GW, my dad's thinking of getting a 22 inch monitor for himself too as his eyes cant really take the small icons on his 15 inch monitor anymore.

thing is his computer is a really old Dell (like 6 years+). I hadnt been able to bring my monitor over to see if it works with his PC, but i've got a gut feeling that his old integrated graphics might not take the native resolution of a 22 inch (correct me if i'm wrong please).

if yes, then what's the bare minimum graphics card that would support a 1680x1050 resolution? I might end up having to build a new CPU for him, which only would be to use simple Microsoft Office tools and for surfing the internet.

thanks and hope for your feedback smile.gif

Plan to get a 19-22" LCD to replace my 17" CRT.
Your question remind me and I did a quick check on Google for my GeForce 2 MX200, 32MB.
Can support up to maximum 3D/2D resolution of 2048x1536 @ 75 Hz.

So I guess it can support that resolution normally.
Just that when play 3D intensive game, maybe tough! hmm.gif

So far I only found some 19" models (Asus VW198T, Viewsonic VX1940/1962) with 22" resolution.
Didn't see any 22" with 24" resolution yet. hmm.gif
