I'm looking for a FULL HD 24-26" Monitor but I'm suprised I can't find much other than the Dell.

I need it to be FULL HD, I know Samsung has 26" Full HD, but never seen it. Dell is too expensive and don't have much info on the BenQ.

Man I heard in China they are selling FULL HD Monitors like hot cakes, so why not in Malaysia?

Someone please please provide some model and price for these.
*
that's because in malaysia, "Full HD" stuff is priced in the premier range. if you wan Full HD lcd, BenQ has 1 i think, with ratio of 16:9. but cant remember where i read this.

p/s: cant V2400 do full hd? it even comes with hdmi. whistling.gif good enough in my pov.

I don't know last time I went into few big shops all they have are old smaller monitors.

BTW do you know if Samsung  t260 & 2693 are available in Malaysia & at what price as in China they are selling same price as V2400W?

Also can you let me know which shop carry BenQ V2400W?

Thanks.

HP W2408H should be full HD?

24" lcd can do resolutions of 1920x1080, which is more than full hd 1080p. so u can play 1080p in full without rescaling.

to display full HD, your monitor must have a resolution of 1920 x 1080. a 22" monitor can only do 1680x1050, which means only a 24" and above monitor can play hd as they can support up to 1920x1200.

For me personally, I won't buy dell lcd, because dell is not the original manufacturer of lcd, I believe others brand like LG, SAMSUNG, SONY would be better choice for you since their price is quite reasonble too.
*
do u mean to say, that Dell do not personally design and manufacture their own LCD monitor in their own factory, or; Dell is not an LCD monitor specialist to begin with, and that we should avoid buying Dell's LCD monitor?

then comparing price with specs, the Dell UltraSharp™ 2208WFP would seemed to lose out alot against Samsung 2253BW and LG W2252TQ, therefore the Dell UltraSharp™ 2208WFP wouldn't be a good choice for a price of RM1039, would it guys? Coz i gotta make the decision fast as I'm buying 1 in the upcoming fair.

Hmmm.... Are you using NVIDIA's Detonator/Forceware drivers or Microsoft's own driver? I have no problems running 1680x1050 on these GeForceFX series card, tested before with my friends FX5700 and FX5200.. even the old GeForce2 works...  hmm.gif
*
ok, i juz installed back to the NVidia Forceware driver (*which is old, 77.72_whql), and it can now support 1680x1050. previously i'm running on microsoft's driver. i've also enabled "clearview" and the fonts are find now. but mayb coz its too big and too bright, i still cant get used to it. sweat.gif Brightness at 75 and Contrast at 85. any recommended setting?

Added on August 5, 2008, 10:31 pmguys, how do i readjust the overlay mixer setting? after i installed the driver, all my movies turned valy white. sweat.gif
