I asked hp and they forwarded me to a reseller who was only selling 2465 ............ i got fedup so i asked HP again to buy from directly instead. This time they finally said their selling the 2475 Anyway my cc has been cleared so they said i have to wait for the freight forwarding company and for the standard turn around time to schedule delivery will be 14 working days.

im counting down the seconds...
My thoughts about the purchasing experience.

Their website updated the price and have a look for reseller to buy from. The link to buy is useless since their manually asking you to look for the reseller which may or may not have stock of it.

Also their online shop wasn't update selling the 2475 .....

Alternatively i tried calling direct sales but they had no clue about the 2475. They just say they aren't selling it :confused:

I then mailed before sales enquiries and you can select either buy direct from hp or buy from reseller. Anyway i finally select hp and they finally quoted the actual 2475 i was looking for.

Imho they need a little more communication between the departments so that all depts know when 2475 is being sold and availability rather then oh not being sold when in fact they are .........

You should try calling and emailing Angie since it's faster. I left her contact 

Maybe she can help direct you to a reseller if you prefer rather then buying from them directly. But not sure if i was in your shoes would like to go through that hassle.

Quenox - I got a ring and they said my monitor will be delivered on Monday.
I ordered on Thursdays, and their delivering on Monday ... so basically it took 3 days from the order day, verify cc, and for shipping to arrive sweet (weekends aren't counted because they are non working days).

Summary: No regrets having paid 2.4k for this baby However it does need to be calibrated to get the best out of it. I paid Rm 1k for my Eye One Display 2 Calibrator. So in total i paid 3.4k for monitor + calibrator well i see the monitor all the time so it was a good buy for me. I can sleep well knowing i have a good monitor for when Diablo 3 comes out
I did my best calibration attempt today.
When i factory reset, i had left brightness at the default 90. I set color controls to custom but i left the values at the default for it which were RGB 255. Contrast was at the default 80. I used strictly Eye match and followed the order contrast > RGB > Luminance based on the program's step by step. At the end of all the calibration, i used basICColor to review the results.
Target settingsfor calibration were

D65

140 luminance

2.2 gamma
Contrast: left at default 80 since when i used the calibrator to check contrast it was already at the best point seems odd ...
RGB:

R: 246

G: 226

B: 255
Brightness: then when i was calibrating to the target 140, i adjusted accordingly to reach the target. The default 90 was spot on 400 or so as the tft central review said it was on default.

Yeah she told me upon verification of payment, it will take between 7 days for shipping to be sent. They only say 7 so that you can't say they didn't meet the eta.

I would think it would arrive 1-2 days on a weekday.
