the lower end 24" at 1920x1200 was at RM9xx some time in April's PC fair... though it never drop that low again since... stingy Dell...

With different/efficient codecs... 1080p at 8GB is possible (for a typical 90 minute movie)

GTG means grey to grey.... or grey to full white/black to grey..... a full pixel twist (white to black to white again) would be roughly 2x that... or 4ms... human eyes could hardly detect speeds faster than 16ms... tops prob 12 to 14ms

UK suffers horrible VAT tax and such... while Malaysia has no tax on computer related stuff... one of the few benefits of Malaysia tax system

For you info.... A normal human at most can only detect 12 to 16ms... If it is 4ms G2G... it will be likely about 8ms for a full pixel twist...

1080p mkv rip could be from 8gb to 12gb

16:10 ratio... (or 16:9 ratio for the newer 1090p 24")... diagonal 19, 22, 24... Trigonometry/Pythagorean's theorem ..and u should get the exact height and width of the lcd screen

And effective pixel twist from 0 to 90 and back to 0 is roughly 10 to 11 ms... and normal human cannot detect beyond 12ms.. (around 15 to 16ms is the norm) .... the neurotransmiter of connected to your retinal cells cannot be replenisned fast enough nor is the human brain fast enough to process the image..

soo.... 2ms on LCD is all hype with no human perseptible difference

However the real response maybe much higher than 2ms or 5ms as advert... hence, fake/false advert...

Waited 3 months for my 2407 last time... fully paid too...

Metropolitan Japan, pre-mature order... that Dell was not able to supply from the factory in Taiwan... probably firmware bugs... got the reversion 0 that ... had to be sent back for Rev 1 or 2..

back-light bleeding .. due to panel not completely flat/set correctly, a defect that would be hard to correct, and hard to request a replacement/claim warranty... b.t.w. I always hate/anti the "crystal-brite"/glossy LCDs...
