QUOTE(ahsiah @ Aug 15 2008, 12:56 PM) My Dell S2409W is arrived. Installed. Great. By the way, there is a DVI cable comes along. No worry to get another one unit. Dell and their famous firmware problem, for the first batch?... most likely... both hdmi and dvi should be able to do 1080p at 1:1 pixelHowever, when using HDMI, the image is stretched. Not sure it is ATI driver matter or what. Mind to share with me yours experience? This post has been edited by BeastX: Aug 15 2008, 04:13 PM |

With different/efficient codecs... 1080p at 8GB is possible (for a typical 90 minute movie)

QUOTE(ykchow89 @ Aug 30 2008, 09:44 PM) 2ms (GTG) means wat? not fully running at 2ms response time? is it enaf to have 5ms monitor? GTG means grey to grey.... or grey to full white/black to grey..... a full pixel twist (white to black to white again) would be roughly 2x that... or 4ms... human eyes could hardly detect speeds faster than 16ms... tops prob 12 to 14ms |

QUOTE(viperiii @ Sep 20 2008, 11:16 PM) 300 pounds sterling for BENQ E2400HD UK suffers horrible VAT tax and such... while Malaysia has no tax on computer related stuff... one of the few benefits of Malaysia tax system190 pounds sterling for BENQ E2200HD, then of 190 x 6.202 (exchange rate) close to RM1200. consider the most expensive sale of BENQ E2200HD would be about RM1200 at Malaysia. Also, I think the product is not yet available at Malaysia. -Peter- |

For you info.... A normal human at most can only detect 12 to 16ms... If it is 4ms G2G... it will be likely about 8ms for a full pixel twist...

QUOTE(viperiii @ Oct 4 2008, 01:03 PM) but the response time that dell monitor is still 5ms? And effective pixel twist from 0 to 90 and back to 0 is roughly 10 to 11 ms... and normal human cannot detect beyond 12ms.. (around 15 to 16ms is the norm) .... the neurotransmiter of connected to your retinal cells cannot be replenisned fast enough nor is the human brain fast enough to process the image..soo.... 2ms on LCD is all hype with no human perseptible difference However the real response maybe much higher than 2ms or 5ms as advert... hence, fake/false advert... My right side got bright light compare to left side. Izzit burn? back-light bleeding .. due to panel not completely flat/set correctly, a defect that would be hard to correct, and hard to request a replacement/claim warranty... b.t.w.
