My comments after couple days using R3EA037
well, it seems a bit faster when playing games,
but sumtimes my hp freeze for about 5 seconds.. hampagas betul...

for example, when at desktop or home screen, press right softkey to view "contacts".. my hp freezes for 5 seconds.. but then after i repeatedly press kaw kaw.. no lag anymore, it's for the first time after long period of "sleep mode".

i dunno, it survived the first firmware update, why not the second time?

i notice that phone lock also din change after firmware update..still my custom lock number..

that means firmware update is not same like formatting computer....all going back to zero...

heard of gpsmid.. it's free opensource though..
but.. i think all gps software still need to pay for it..(using gprs or 3g)

the built in gps is free, but it costs u money when u download map...


i only dare to play with gps when my phone connected to laptop only..
that's how i spend time with my phone when prepaid is zero..

tapi kena ingat, sepandai2 tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh ke tanah jua...
this one is not the toilet vid, but fair enuf to judge..

this vid is the extreme test..
it doesnt mean that you can simply soak ur phone in the water everyday..

well, shit happens.. who knows someday, someone accidentally pour kopi on ur phone..
let say u hv other phone with u, must fast2 wipe the kopi with cloth.. but the kopi smell remains on the phone..

but with C702, after accidentally pour kopi, u can pour another cup of tea, a cup of milo, a cup of ribena, pepsi, sarsi, tongkat ali, listerine....etc then after that u can wash it at sink.. no stain, no smell

it got rubberband in all important slits..
loud speaker also noticeably slower than k850, but maybe it's because of the water resist shield inside?

sorry my bad.. yes, after confirmed with my brother, can play wma..

in settings, set "assisted start" to "never"
then can use tracker, status info, image geotagging for free...

the trick is, always start status info, and wait untill GPS is connected. then minimize and now can take picture!
remember, GPS is free, day or night as long as you are not indoor, you can always connect to GPS sattelites..
everyday i go jogging, bicycling, can measure speed, burned calories and so on..

with tracker, i measured 160.9km from kuala terengganu to kemaman..
i thought GPS uses a lot battery. luckily it's not.
3 hours non-stop only consumes 31% battery power..

tracker also plot your route.. haha... if you go pasar malam, you'll see so many zigzag cos you stop here stop there to buy...

now i really love my phone... most important feature i love is Geotagging.. cos my digital camera does not have that..

did you follow the instructions on seus?

if you cannot update with seus (which i doubt u cant), why dont u try update using phone itself?
settings>update service>search for update

can always use usb connection to get internet from pc..
free.. i mean as long as ur pc connected to internet..

he also include modded front camera driver as well.


got somebody from esato released his version of camdriver.
i tried it. but N1's wayyyyy better than the camdriver.

if you got extra xenon flash ok la.
but the problem is, those LEDs are your main photo light.

if pejam celik pejam celik, then quickly snap pic, do you think there would be enough light enters your tiny lens and sensor?

ya, memang silau and sakit mata over 9000!
but cant do shit about that.

photo light is suppose to work that way,
when in low light condition, slower shutter speed is needed, thus "constant torch" is needed so that there will be enough light to capture.
no point fast fast close shutter but the camera not ready. u'll get black screen lah!

sorry, what kind of nokia phone? the one with autofocus or not?

even if that is the latest firmware, reflash the same fw again.
