ori is rm 1090 n ap is rm 1010~i ask a few shop adi~
the difference of price between origianl n AP is not much different so i choose original loh~

bought for 1150 ringgit in Bangsar. Paid for it and it was hand delivered to me in 2 hours as the shop didn't hold stock (strange but true) Will also be getting an 8gb card to compliment it..

need to get feedback on the gps capability in msia especially klang valley...

anyone can give feedback? need to know if its data based so we pay as we use or u can download map and run free of gps...

Oppsh sowee. In Penang its kinda expensive RM1000 for AP, we dont' even have ori units here (at least i can't find em). I'm still contented with the phone though, lol.

is strange that higher C902 does not support aGPS...but lower spec n cheaper C702 come with GPS

It's very expensive here in Penang. A shop in Gurney is selling for around 1200-1300 for an original unit.

I just updated to the latest firmware (Rxxxx37 lol forgot the whole sequence) , not much difference imho my the camera pic quality does look better ! (Especially the pics with the LED flash)

just now...i check out some shop at sunway pyramid selling the C702 original for RM1,4xx..

a few shop quoted me RM1,4xx for original...and one shop..RM1,1xx... but most shop
do not have the real C702... some of them said is not so popular...

just bough the speedblack original C702 at RM1299 with free 2gb m2 card... (trade in phones)...

very nice/stable phone...nice A200 platform... my firmware is R3BA035... since mine is original..
so i guess i could update at Sony centres ?? 

here is what I liked about this C702...

1) Fast response
2) cool animation (A200 platform)
3) Acceptable camera (is cybershot 3.2mp)
4) Cool design..black/titanium finish
5) splash/dust resistance
6) good key pad
7) Large icons...
8) Large lcd screen 
9) reasonable pricing for a phone

other than there pretty much a normal 3.2 phone... 

like this phone very much...have tried the latest G700/G900/C902....P1i
but ended up getting this phone...

got one question on C702....any idea whether we can set the clock as display when the
phone left idle ??

my previous K810i went left idle...at the black screen..display the clock and als ENVELOPE sign
if received unread sms message !

still ok actually
but facing same problem like other user
like will auto restart,lag n whn listening to song,the song will suddenly cut off n will well after 2 or 3 seconds
n i found tat this hp rong volume is kinda soft if compare to my previous phone
n speed of sms oso kinda slow
hope after update to latest firmware,all problem will solve

tried update my phone software thru 3G, using the SETTINg/GENERAL/UPDATE SERVICE
and the message i got is my phone software is the latest version...

my phone just re-started....when I was charging...

I prefer to bring my phone to update at SE centre....any idea where is the SE centre
that I can update the software ? i prefer PJ/Subang/sunway area

I'm seriously considering to buy this phone....but before that I need to confirm whether to use the Maps function, do we have to go online everytime to access it? Browsed through all 10 pages of this thread but can't seems to find a definite answer.

And have anyone tried out the "tracker" function? I read it can detect ur speed and how many km u've travelled and will show how many calories u've burned or sumthing liddat. Does it actually works in msia?

Please, if anyone knows, please reply!!! Thanksss!!! =)

(P.S: I read in this model the flash light function is back...used to have it on K750i...but no one seems to mention it haha. I think it's useful! )
