C'mon guys, we're better than that. Wishing for a rival player to be injured is not nice. It's just not the Madrid way
12 points is always going to be a big ask. If it happens it would be another miracle. If it doesn't no biggie; at least the boys have shown alot of fight and character. That's not much more you can ask really. |

Buying players at obscene prices just to show that you are a glamor club. Using the back door to get players aka Figo, Ronaldo, Viera. You really sure are better then that. It's just a wonder why you never get bankrupt12 points is always going to be a big ask. If it happens it would be another miracle. It's just a wonder why you never get bankrupt Here we go again. Boy, you don't have the faintest idea what you are talking about. You're just like those sheep that just reads everything at face value and then think they are absolute facts. The govt did not fork out a single euro on the training facility. They only reconverted the land back to commercial land. It was a common sense move because the land which used to be on the outskirts became smack in the middle of the city area because of the expansion of Madrid over the years. Skyscrapers were constructed, which were partly owned by the city council, which were then sold off to private buyers. So the city council actually made money from the deal as well. It was a genius deal pulled off by Perez given that he was a savvy businessman with many contacts. The deal was investigated by external auditors and they found nothing wrong with it. So poof there goes one of your brilliant accusations Figo? We paid the transfer release clause. Negotiated with the player. Done. Ronaldo? He wanted out of Inter. Negotiated with Inter. Done. Viera? Didn't even join us so I don't see your point. And don't go all acting high and mighty. Every club go about their transfers in the same way. We just make more high profile ones. Why we never get bankrupt? Maybe because we are actually owned by the fans themselves and they pay annual member fees and are probably willing to bail the club out if in trouble? Or maybe that we have done extremely well in the marketing dept the last few years? Or maybe the new lucrative TV deal we just negotiated? Not feeling so smug now are you? I would be surprised if you dare to show yourself here again. But I dare you |

I'm guessing elections will be called after this season is over and a temp president will take over for now. |

I think Perez might run for elections. But I doubt socios would be willing to vote him in given the mess he caused in his last presidency. I guess it depends on the other candidates as well. If there is no one better then we might see him again.
