QUOTE(sinoffire @ Dec 24 2008, 06:11 PM) holy sh!t.....more than zizou then?? most expensive trsf ever in footie history in the making perhaps?? You won't be surprise . . Benzema has the same background of Zizou. He might be the next "BIG" thing. Combinations of Zizou & Ronaldo. What Verx said is true, is been quite a long time Benzema wanted to played for us. Just the media like to stir things up. Verx, let us hope that Calderon & Mijatovic didn't screw things up. This post has been edited by I.D. alex: Dec 24 2008, 07:43 PM |

QUOTE(sinoffire @ Dec 24 2008, 09:22 PM) but, do u guys need another winger? antonio valencia is being linked quite heavily to u lots tho. My point of view, we need a winger. After Robinho left us and join Man.City. It left a hole on the right side of the attack.EDIT: and pennant recentli as well. Antonio Valencia (Wigan), may be true but Pennant (Liverpool) I don't think so we have the interest to sign him, because his one of the players who has diciplin and attitude problems, no doubt his a good winger but might not be the right one for us. As for now, we are heavily link with Milos Krasic (CSKA Moscow). I have a feelin' that it will be a good signin'... |

QUOTE(I.D. alex @ Dec 25 2008, 04:02 AM) My point of view, we need a winger. After Robinho left us and join Man.City. It left a hole on the right side of the attack. False. Robinho plays primarily on the left. We always had a void on the right side. It's just more glaring this season because of Ramos' poor form at RB.QUOTE Antonio Valencia (Wigan), may be true but Pennant (Liverpool) I don't think so we have the interest to sign him, because his one of the players who has diciplin and attitude problems, no doubt his a good winger but might not be the right one for us. I doubt we are looking at Valencia or Pennant. Krasic I think there has been interest but I dunno whether he would be good enough to play for us. I was taking a look at youtube videos and Arshavin looks the better player and I'm abit confused as to why we don't show more interest in him seeing that Krasic wouldn't be able to register for CL anyway since we are most likely to choose to register Huntelaar. As for now, we are heavily link with Milos Krasic (CSKA Moscow). For the list,
Antonio Valencia (Wigan), Pennant (Liverpool), Milos Krasic (CSKA Moscow).. in my opinion they are not good enough.. i wonder where else can find a player whose level like robben.. putting extreme pressure to both flank.. Benzema is a good buy since he'also interested.. For the right winger, i really like Ribery.. he's not only has speed, skill, but can give more diversity to the gameplay.. |

actually, im pretty disappointed with current progress, we r chasing an average winger that i think not really needed to give us an impact that we needed.. arshavin is the best... silva come second, but to me, since silva already played 5 league games.. so a big NO to him.. so the last option is arshavin.. come on calderon.. stop chasing mid range winger... ohh godd...

i think the probability to buy arshavin is very low..since the players that real madrid keen to buy were young in these years..He's ald 28 and after new year 29 leh..

IMHO.. no matter how old he is.. the most important thing is, we need to come back.. 29 is not too old loo... n arshavin is the lost puzzle of ours..

well .. age is not the main subject of argument when buying a player..
the thing is that arshavin plays almost the exact same football as raul... but not as stylish .. he needs a good pass for him to score.. we need crazy wingers .. i havent fully seen what ashley young can do .. but i hope he's as good as figo .. lol.. |

Arshavin plays nothing like Raul. And he's not a striker that waits for passes to score. He takes the ball from deep or wide and runs at people and he's also more of a provider. He can play anywhere along the forward line. But what I like about him most is his intelligence on the pitch. He's got such a good footballing brain that I've no doubt he would fit in here perfectly.the thing is that arshavin plays almost the exact same football as raul... but not as stylish .. he needs a good pass for him to score.. we need crazy wingers .. i havent fully seen what ashley young can do .. but i hope he's as good as figo .. lol.. You would think having played for English clubs he would have at least picked up on the language. "Lass"...man the commentators could have a field day with this one.
