dun think that make sense... even if the nanomchines did suppressed the enemy's pain.. it shud have shown the immediate effect the moment their hand/arm is shot.. but in this case.. their hand tremble as long they remain freeze..
to me is more like a bug..
one more thing is the MGO fire put out trick.. if u are on fire, equip box and there's no more fire.. logically speaking... the box will burn..
i agree MGS2 also have Nanomachine, but is it implemented liken the one in MGS4?
in MGS4, nanomachine is controlling everything, from emotion to mind..heck even breakdown alcohol before your body can adsorb and make you drunk.
But in MGS1 & 2, nanomachine only monitor soldier condition like sugar level, heart beat etc.
as for the MGO fire-put-out-trick, it's more about style than realism. MSG is always synonym with Cardboard box and KojimaPro want to make sure you use the box as much as you use your gun.
Yes, realistically if you're on fire , the box should be burned...but where's the fun in that? and in fact, people wont use the box at all and treat it as a piece of useless crap
i pretty much like mgs go with it's own style rather than going realistic.
