Anyways, I finally got my BBE in 3 hours and 15 minutes..

Any idea where to get limited edition MGS4 game guide book by PRIMA?? Seems like no stock everywhere..in kinokuniya also is the normal edition only...

Just got the game and the console last weekend..now getting use of the controls..damn..too long i haven't played MGS series..having difficulty controlling the camera view..hehehe

erm..the camera isnt the same as before..
only in subsistence would you find this camera (able to control)
even then,the controls were different-so the controls in MGS4 are a first in the MGS series

Yeah..gives me headache after playing it for the first time..

eh.. something interesting come into my mind.
do u guys still remember the "bullet repel magnet" skill/device that appear to miss fortune in mgs2? and the device is equipped by ocelot on the top of arsenal gear(GW) before he jump into the sea with the metal gear ray.
y don Kojima use it in mgs4 since the device is appear at almost end of the mgs2.... at the 1st time i really tot the device will come out in coming mgs series while im playing mgs2, who knows after mgs2 it came to mgs3 which is past of the mgs2 . and now mgs4 the device doesnt even mention in the game. quiet disappointing..

i really miss that device and that will be great if kojima put it in mgs4 secret item list.

actually, i was glad the device didnt make it in MGS4, or else the only way we can defeat the boss is using CQC.


and the device itself can be considered as God-mode. No one can do any harm to you, except of Gekkos kick


i was hoping more on MGS past char. Would it be cool if suddenly a group of Raven save snake from the enemies and then VUlcan Raven's last word echoes in snake mind "Snake, i'll be watching you from above"

I think its because the device was made by the Patriots.

It was mentioned by Ocelot to Fortune in MGS2. And since in MGS4 Ocelot is against the Patriots,

using a Patriots' technology will backfire . A theory tho'.

that would not be a problem, kojima will make boss can be defeated even equip the device. As you can see, the vamp hv the ability to avoid bullet, but after all the vamp also killed by snake with gun (i mean is before vamp is being injected) and then revive. some more the device should be equip by ocelot only, and you doesn't hv to fight liquid ocelot in the game at all(except the last battle using CQC).

it would be cool at the scene of the US military surrounded liquid ship in Europe, and try to fire at liquid and all the bullet is juz "fly away" ... and the bullet hit vamp again (maybe naomi as well) hahahah~

Vamp can also be shot in MGS2 by Raiden..it's not like he can 100% avoid it even in MGS2.

it think it more cooler where Ocelot disable all their weapon and totally pawned them all.

Which one did you prefer?

1) The enemy cant hit you with bullet & bomb

2) They enemy cant hit you because they cant even fire their weapon.



1 prefer thet latter one because it totally tell the enemy that "You are 'naked' now and officially a sitting duck"

cool is one thing, but to make the story coherent with the plot is another.

hahahaha~, but in mgs2 the bullet hit vamp unintended bcoz Fortune is beside vamp ma, vamp no even try to avoid the bullet.

lol, wat im trying to say is the idea for creating the bullet repel device is awesome, but y don included it in Mgs4, maybe not appear in the europe scene, or maybe used by someone else? drebin? coz drebin is under patriots right, haha. but the game dint mention at all T.T, maybe can included in the secret item list when u can get one when u achieve certain emblem.

yes..i agree the bullet repel device is great. As for why not include it in MGS4?

if Kojima put it in MGS4, Snake will become Rambo or Terminator.
