i am constantly haulin' them ladies.

price wise SG isn't *that* great. Some pieces here is cheaper if you bought them on day 1.

i can't bring myself to buy the older pieces.. the lack the detail the newer ones have.

You can try Ebay for Sucker Punch statues.
Local retailers in Malaysia, hard to get if you are expecting on the shelves.
I don't know about Amber and Sweet Pea. But when Baby Doll from Gentle Giant was listed on Shioktoys, within hours, preorder sold out! One forum member at another forum was lucky to get his order in at the last minute. Very limited pieces.

For those who fancy 1/6 scale statues or mini busts, GG is the one to invest in. They are quite good in terms of likeness of human characters.

Dude, Gentle Giant is a mixed bag.

I loved their Matrix mini busts.
Star Wars mini busts are pretty ok. But not all of them. Some were very well painted, and some just didn't look so good. Some were horrible like a school project. Their Halo mini busts were well painted.

Some people are saying they are plague with delays and inconsistent paint jobs.

Some feedback on GG here in response to their Marvel license acquisition.

Added on April 12, 2011, 9:32 pmHey guys, how many of you coveted or wanted a statue or statues for a long time, a few years, you had been looking for it in the past. But gradually, kind of forgot about it because new stuff kept being made by SS,Bowen and Koto or other companies. Then, one day, you come upon what you had been looking for. It's second hand. But still pricey and available locally.

Do you still have the passion for that?

It's been quite some time. That piece you always wanted was from a very very hot movie 10 years ago. It's no longer IN, and no longer HOT. Do you still want it? Would you still jump at it or say it an Italian mobster: "Ah ferrgitt-about it." Pass it, and get something new and looks even better?

Jesus h christ look at the base of the monica bust. if the film had a scene of her messing up with the squids it wont be half that bad.

and dang demon, you had that Monica in the box all the time?

how big us your collection and how did you manage to keep it so dust free lol

if i see a luke pf or a black queen (pretty much any good lady sculpt) 2nd hand @ "reasonable price" i won't mind getting it.

<-- waiting 2 years for the WoW diorama and one day found it @ Sunway Pyramid of all places. From there onwards stop collecting comics and start collecting 'art'

*Looks at Emma LSB*
*reserve money for Emma LSB*
