Phra Khun Paen(taken out from Stupa 出塔), Wat Bangkrang, Suphanburi Province (B.E. 2492).

With original temple box. The back of the amulet got the chop of Wat Bangkrang. For your information, Wat Bangkrang/ Wat Bahn Krang is the pioneer temple who made Khun Paen amulets.

General Khun Paen

Legendary Khun Paen lived between 1491-1529. He is the legendary Ayuthaya warrior living some 450 years ago. His name later became the name of a kind of votive tablets found at Wat Bangkrang, Suphanburi Province, about a century ago. Khun paen was born in Suphanburi Province (some 70 km. northwest of Bangkok) but grew up in the close bordered Kanchanaburi Province, where the world wide well-known "Bridge over River Kwai" situated.

He was a disciple of Archan Kong, a magic-expert guru monk, for magical studies. By his skillful fighting, he was appointed by the king to be Khun or a high ranking military officer. His biography was far more extended and rather a story by poetic authors of the early Rattanakosin period.

According to some comments and reviews by the archans, monks and local Thai people, khun paen amulet generally is best for :
1) Able to naturally attract the opposite sex.
2) Get to be liked, trusted, respected and admired by everyone.
3) Get to develop indestructible confidence and courage.
4) Easiler to ask for favour and help.
5) Gain the "upper hand" in business or career.
6) Sucessful in everything that your do.
7) Great luck and great charm.
8) Victories in all aspects of lifes.
and much much more....

I have been observing your amulet thread for a very long time... Most of your amulets look so fake, can hardly see temple code or serial number details, cant prove any temple ritual pictures or monk picture with the amulet and so on.

I suggest that you stop making business out of fake amulet as this will be huge karma towards you, and also stop trying to distract your customers by saying things like " beware of fake amulet seller" because i think you are just one of them. Thank you
*

Fake??? Ok. Good. Show Time. Then now you show me what is real? How to identify? Show me your prove? Prove from Thai Amulets Committee Members? Get some ''real'' piece and show me. Your amulet picture please don't simply download from any website. I want you to show me your own ''real'' collection. Must be your own collections. I wana learn from you. Let me called you: ''Sifu''.

1st of all, Why should i show u my amulet that i get  for " free" from the temples in thailand? You want to sabotage my amulets? i do donations to temples and get for free simply because the monks rent it to me, not bought, out of kindness and freewill.

2nd of all, i am not saying that RENT amulet is wrong. But people have the RIGHT to feel safe to see that their amulet have gone through at least 49 DAYS of blessing by the monk. You never take pics of amulet with the monk and show to your customers? Why i can see just amulet pictures? DO u have proof that the amulets or buccha have gone through proper blessing?

3nd of all, anyone can put serial code, and temple stamp on the amulet, fake or real noone know. Colour and details are important as imperfect amulets are most likely to be fake as shown in the amulets that you rent.

All i can say to the people in this thread, think carefully as i myself can be an amulet "renter". But think about it, do you really want an amulet bought by the roadside of thai or god knows where? or do you want a real authentic amulet from the monk of the temple?

Who are you? I don't even know you. Frankly, I'm not interested to see your amulet. I though you are such an experience amulets collector. Then you should have some amulets that same with mine. Just to do comparing what is real and what is fake. Since you say my amulet is fake. Then u must have the real piece right? Take photo with your ''real'' piece and show me la....(but must be same piece with me then only can do compare, rite?) i tak sabar nak menunggu.....

Why I wana sabotage your amulets??? I think u misunderstanding and I don't even think about it. Are you JOKER? Or you feel that now still in CNY mood and I have nothing to do?

Are you kidding me? Picture? How many GB you want? I didn't show my picture then u say my items is fake. Example: When some one bought somethings from supermarket then don't wana get the receipt then u must b say he is a thief lol??? You don't even know how to identify amulets, then how can u qualify to judge my items? Identify amulets form the picture it own. NOT picture that show my face with the Luang Phors.

If Old amulets then? How can you take the photo? Every collectors knew that some old amulets no longer @ the temple or the Luang Phor already passed away. The only way can get the old amulets is from amulet collectors or shop which sell amulets. Don't you know about that?

Do you know what is thai amulets magazine or book? Do you read it b4? See the marking and so on? Do you do compare with amulet with amulet? Do you know what is marking? Do you try to see details of your amulet do compare with others peoples or friends? Are u nut? Or you are newbie? Please do all b4 you type out your ''3nd of all''.

Phra Lersi Buccha, Wat Bang Phra (Luang Phor Pern's Temple), Nakhon Pathom Province.

Phra Lersi are Indian hermits who are credited to be the founders and patron saints of various professions like doctors, religious tattooists, white magic practitioners, herbalists and many others.

There are a total of 108 sacred hermits who are recognised by name and many others who are not. Most often than not, all 108 of the hermits are represented by a generic image of a wisely old man wearing a conical hat and tiger skin robes but there are also specific images who represent specific Phra Lersi.

In Indian mythology, Phra Lersi received worldly knowledge from the gods and taught these knowledges to men. Thus, these Phra Lersi are also the masters of knowledge and are frequently worshipped by students and people in academic pursuits.

As Phra Lersi are also credited to be the founders of the Thai magical arts, they feature prominently on the altars of magical practitioners in Thailand and are invoked in rituals.

By praying with oneself the images of Phra Lersi at your house or shop, can be protected from all forms of black magic and evil spirits as well. Students are also recommended to pray for Phra Lersi image as he is able to aid one in studies and knowledgeable pursuits.

Luang Phor Pern silver rian(with Longya - color), Wat Bang Phra, Nakhon Pathom Province (B.E. 2544).

Temple price (B.E.2554 / Year: 2011) selling : 5,000 bath

Biography of Luang Phor Pern

Luang Phor Pern Tithakunoe was Born in Thambon Bang Gaew Nakhon Pathom on the 12th of August 2466.

Shortly after his Birth, his mother and father decided to move to live in the small Village of Baan Tung Kork, in The district of Sorng Pi Norng province of SupannBurii.

Supan Burii was a territory that teemed with "Nak Laeng and infamous highwaymen including well known characters such as, Suea Dam, Suea Bai, and Suea Mahaesworn. (Interestingly it is now these very type of modern day characters that seek the protection from LP Pern)At this time, Luang Phor Pern who was still a Layman, found it wise to source some magic charms to protect himself from the dangerous elements of the region.

In addition to this, Luang Phor Pern had always been attracted to Buddhist Magic used by warriors in the historic past. Suffice to say he was seriously interested in all things paranormal.

He sought out one of the most respected monk of his time, Luang Phor Daeng (Pra Kruu Suwannasaatugith).

Luang Phor Daeng was based in the area at Wat Tung Kork, in Supannburii Province. Luang Phor Pern became a Lay Disciple of Luang Phor Daeng, who was in turn a disciple of Luang Phor Hnoeng (Wat Klong Madan); an Expert in matters of Sorcery.

At the age of 26 Luang Phor Pern would become ordained as a Monk. He was ordained by Phra Ajahn Huem, who was also his teacher in Buddha Magic and Sorcery.

Apart from that, Luang Phor Pern was a Disciple of "Agkara Khorm" , and a student of yant composition and application. His yant were renowned for their aesthetic beauty and the power that they carried. Luang Phor Pern studied vipassana meditation with utmost dedication for many years and through these studies was able to become a disciple of the Great Luang Phor Opassi, one of the Greatest monks of the time, known for his powers of white magic.

After this, Luang Phor Pern went "Tudong" in the jungles of Western Thailand (Kanchanaburi) He crossed the border into the realm of Marit (Burma), through the remote areas of Saesawoe and Bang Graenggawia; Known in that time as being the thickest darkest Jungle, full of dangerous animals and unknown fevers.

According to Thai beliefs, there was also the added dangers of "Naang Mai" (wicked fairies and tree spirits), Phii Phoeng and Phii Phaa (Jungle ghosts) and all sorts of evil spirits. The inhabitants of this thickly forested and mountainous region were mostly Karen, many of whom became disciples of Luang Phor Pern.

Luang Phor Pern seemed to be loved and respected wherever he travelled, due to the fact that he possessed such a transparent personality that allowed all to see his great compassion and his power to help folk with his magic.

One day Luang Phor Pern was called upon by the local folk to become Abbot of Wat Tung Nang Lork (Temple of the field with the lady ghost), in Kanchanaburi, where he developed the temple during his five year stay. After this he returned to the jungles to practice the ancient ascetic meditation practices.

Luang Phor Pern later became the Abbott of Wat Koeg Khaemao in Nakorn Pathom, which at that time was not only in a bad state of repair but was also in an area that was inaccessible, being thickly forested. He developed and repaired the temple gaining the love and respect of the local people. It was here that he consecrated his very first amulets, which are now rare and hard to find. It was from the donations received in return for these amulets that he was able to renovate the temple.

After many years at Wat Koeg Khaemao he was invited to become Abbot of Wat Bang Phra where he became better known for spiritual tattoos or yant especially the tattoo festival in the month of March.

All Luang Phor Pern’s amulets are well-know for warding off dangers of all kinds. All recorded and unrecorded miraculous phenomena can be heard from people that wore Luang Phor Pern’s amulets. However, many do not know that, his amulets are also imbuing with the power for invulnerability, Maha Phokhasap (great wealth), Mahalarp (great fortune), Klaew Klaad (free from all harms),Maha Amnaj (great charismatic power feared by others) and Maha Metta (to be greatly loved by others all around).

Many people who had worn Luang Phor Pern’s amulets encountered efficacious experiences with Great Metta, Fortune, Unexpected Bonanza, and Life Protection. The news of experiences was widely spreading to BKK and many other provinces which ignited a scrambling sourcing of amulets consecrated by him.

Luang Phor Pern of Wat Bang Phra was a benevolent donor that built hospital for the poor villagers and likewise schools to educate them with a skill to earn a living. His great compassionate was widely known by many others in Thailand. In addition, he was greatly known by many for his occult Thai tattoo. His “ser” (tiger) tattoo was said that to possess the power to stop a bullet.

In the month of March, many devotees will travel about an hour's drive west of Bangkok. Thousands of roughnecks - laborers, drivers, mobsters - descend upon the temple to honor Luang Phor Pern, in a ceremony known as wai kroo, or bow to the teacher. On this occasion, devotees receive new tattoos, revitalize old ones and a blessing ceremony was also given in the form of prayers that was said to rejuvenate those with luck of wealth and fortune. It is also greatly believe by his devotees that Luang Phor Pern’s tattoos can stop bullets and blades, prevent road accidents, improve business, induce trances, and calm your mind.

Apart from his popularity in tattooing, he was also a guru that produces amulets with the attributes of invulnerability, Maha Phokhasap (great wealth), Mahalarp (great fortune), Klaew Klaad (free from all harms), Maha Amnaj (great charismatic power feared by others) and Maha Metta (to be greatly loved by others all around). LP Pern was also considered as one of the greatest guru in Palad Khik creation in the present days.

The tiger is an emblem of prosperity, courage, confidence, fearless and Maha Amnaj in Luang Phor Pern’s amulets. These make us link the tiger tooth (Khiao Ser) of Luang Phor Pang, Wat Bangnomkho, Authaya to them. However, Luang Pern did consecrate a small quantity of Khiao Ser with his special Katha etched on it. Khiao Ser in Thai language is translated as Khiao for tooth and Ser for tiger. Therefore, Khiao Ser means tiger tooth.

In the terminology of Thai amulets, Khiao Ser is a figure of tiger regardless of what it is been made of. Normally, the materials for making Khiao Ser are tiger’s tooth, bear’s tooth, ivory, wood and even bronze or metal. The most expensive will be those make of tiger tooth mainly due to the difficulty in obtaining one with the diminishing number of tigers in the World. Likewise, every tiger have only one pair of upper front big teeth. This economic reason causes the price for the rarity pair of upper front big teeth to be extremely high. Moreover after the consecration, this piece of tooth becomes very rare. It is most suitable for people that need to command respect from others. Hence, help the wearer to avoid becoming a victim of political struggle in any arena.

All Luang Phor Pern’s amulets are well-know for warding off dangers of all kinds. All recorded and unrecorded miraculous phenomena can be heard from people that wore Luang Phor Pern’s amulets. However, many do not know that, his amulets are also imbuing with the power for invulnerability, Maha Phokhasap (great wealth), Mahalarp (great fortune), Klaew Klaad (free from all harms) and Maha Amnaj (great charismatic power feared by others) and Maha Metta (to be greatly loved by others all around).

To enhance the efficacious result of the amulets, one need to do is simply said “Luang Phor Pern (x 3 times)” and informs him of the current needs by the wearer. In addition, synchronize with your right hand touching the amulet. Although, Luang Phor Pern had passed away in the year 2002 (30th June) / (B.E.2545), your wish can still be answered by him. This is an evidence of one attainting Arahan.

Phra Somdej(with tiger)(made of Rae), Luang Phor Unn(Woon), Wat Tanggong (B.E. 2530).

Luang Phor Unn Sukamo, Wat Tanggong, Marbplakhao district, Ampuer Tha Yang, Phetburi Province. A highly respected and revered guru monk.

A highly distinctive Phra Somdej made of Rae collected from Khao Prom Cha Ngae since B.E.2522.

Appearance and texture is similar to that of black glass. It is however a kind of ore obtained specifically from Khao Prom Cha-ngae Mountain and smelted under very high temperatures.

Good for Kongkrapan and Maha Utt (Protect from weapons). The tiger is the symbol of strength.

Very popular among Thai amulet collectors and now a very expensive amulet. At the temple this amulet will now cost you about 8,000 Baht minimum and is not that often available.

Many people have related special occurrences whilst wearing amulets consecrated by this master. Amongst the most widely reported experiences are successful business dealings and improvement in inter-personal relationships.

One of the most famous incidences related to a man who was robbed and shot with a revolver. All the ammunition pierced his outer garments but none penetrated his body. He was wearing an amulet by Luang Phor Unn at the time to which he he attributed his lucky escape.

Phra Buddha Chinnaraj, Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahatat Woramahawihan (Wat Yai), Phitsanulok Province.

Wat Yai is famous throughout Thailand for its golden sculpture of the Buddha called the Phra Buddha Chinnaraj (พระพุทธชินราช). Many Thai people consider the Phra Buddha Chinnaraj to be the most beautiful Buddha portrait in Thailand. It depicts Buddha in the posture of overcoming Mara (ปางมารวิชัย), also called Mara submission. A stone inscription indicated that he was molded over 700 years ago by a King Mahathamaracha Lithai of Sukhothai dynasty. Several faithful copies of the Phra Buddha Chinnarat are displayed in other temples, including Wat Benchamabophit in Bangkok and Wat Saranat Thammaram in Rayong. Also, the Phra Buddha Chinnaraj is depicted on the official seal of the Phitsanulok Province.

The majestic Phra Buddha Chinaraj projects an aura of authority to its bearer, at the same time providing protection, dispelling evil, bringing wealth by promoting smoothness in our endeavour, success, loving kindness, good luck, family harmony, etc.
