Initially, Luang Pu Toh intended to bless this batch of Phra Pidta amulets for at least 5 rain retreats before distributing out for rent. The reason was because during that period there was still a great number of earlier produced Phra Pidta amulets left in the temple. Luang Pu Toh only managed to bless this batch of Phra Pidta since the Buddhist lent of B.E.2521 up till the Buddhist lent of B.E.2523, i.e. 3 Buddhist lents or 3 Traimas, before passing away on 5th March B.E.2524. In retrospect, this batch of Phra Pidta was blessed by Luang Pu Toh for the longest period compared to Phra Pidta amulets from other batches.


It is well-knowed and recorded that Phra Kru Viroj Kittikhun had produced many batches of Phra Pidta for Luang Pu Toh to consecrate. Luang Pu Toh emphasized a lot on the radiating of loving-kindness and he always blessed Phra Pidta amulets of different moulds by radiating his loving-kindness and compassion. Some moulds of Phra Pidta amulets, for example Phim Jumbo Neuang (1st batch), which Luang Pu Toh spent only 7 days for the blessing but there were many experiences shared by the wearers about their successes.


Phra Kru Viroj Kittikhun reserved a few thousand pieces of these Phra Pidta amulets to offer to Royal Family. The King and the Queen distributed these pieces to the government officials and officers of the uniformed-rank. Many of these pieces were also given to the armed forces who were assigned to Prague, Czech Republic as security forces so that they will be safe when they are executing their duties. Many of these soldiers shared their experiences after they survived near-death experiences while performing their duties, which made this batch of Phra Pidta amulets even more popular and more valuable than it already was.


Many senior mediation masters of the past generation tested and meditated on this batch of Phra Pidta amulets for its energy. Many of them gave the feedback that the energy and power radiated from this batch of Phra Pidta amulets is equivalent to the energy and power radiated from Somdej Wat Bangkhunphrom which were consecrated by Somdej Phra Buddhacharn Toh (Phrommarangsi). It was specially oserved that the energy radiated from Phra Pidta Jumbo Sorng (2nd batch) was the strongest, sharpest and the clearest, most probably due to the fact that a number of pieces were immersed in holy water (Chae Nammon) during the consecration ceremony.


For this batch of Phra Pidta Roon 3 Traimas which Luang Pu Toh blessed for 3 years, many wearers experienced miracles which were passed on from mouth to mouth. All these experiences always mentioned about success, good fortune and being popular and respected by their peers. Many even shared that they were able to be prosperous and were finally free from their debts which were owned through time. Due to these positive experiences recounted by the wearers, Phra Pidta amulets from this batch are always sought after by both devotees and collectors. The amulets were already unavailable in the temple not long after distribution and the imitations found today look almost identical to the genuine pieces.

Phra Pidta Lang Tao (with real gold frame), Luang Pu Toh, Wat Pradoochimplee, Bangkok (B.E.2521)


After the initial production of Phra Pidta Mahalarp Phim Yai (Phim Jumbo or commonly known as Pidta Jumbo Neung) by Phrakru Viroj Kittikhun in B.E.2520, the batch had been popular among Luang Pu Toh's devotees and were all snapped up as soon as they were released. In B.E.2521, due to the limited supply of Phra Pidta Jumbo Neung and requests for remakes, Phrakru Viroj produced Phra Pidta Lang Yant Trinisinghae of which the size is smaller than Phra Pidta Jumbo Neung. It was intended to be the second batch of Phra Pidta Jumbo, i.e. Phra Pidta Jumbo Sorng.


The shape is similar to Phra Pidta Jumbo Neung but after producing around 900 pieces, Phrakru Viroj realized that the knees were too big. The dimension of the amulet is 2.1 c.m. width, 2.8 cm height and 0.6 cm depth (which differs from piece to piece). When Luang Pu Toh saw the final product, he remarked that the back of the amulet is a bit curvy like the back of turtle. Hence, this batch of Phra Pidta is named as "Phra Pidta Lang Tao". There are 2 basic types of Phra Pidta Lang Tao, those inserted with a single takrut or with two takruts. Only one type of material is used for both types, Nur Phong Bailan. Those with two takruts are significantly lesser in quantity when compared to those with single takrut.

Phra Phrom(The four-faced Brahmā Sahampati) 四面佛
Brahmā Sahampati is an early Hindu religion dating back some 5,000 years. This religion is mainly symbolized by a trinity of Gods, namely; Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. It is believed that this Brahmanical triad combined their powers to create the Buddhist world.

One of the earliest iconographic descriptions of Brahma is that of the four-faced god seated on a lotus. In Thai Buddhism this Brahminist 4-faced god is known as "Phrom Sie Nah ", but it often referred to by others as the 4 faced Buddha.

Thai Buddhists highly respect many Brahminist gods including the 4-faced Phrom Buddhism grew out of a culture which believed in many levels of gods, called devas. There were also the highest level of gods, the Brahma gods, and Maha Brahma, the highest God.

Indeed many Thai religious ceremonies are heavily influenced by Hindu ritualistic practices even amulet consecrations. Buddhism as a religion is deeply rooted in early Hinduism from which it developed.

The description of Brahma like other deities of Hinduism bears a mystic symbolism. The lotus represents the Reality. Brahma sitting on the lotus indicates that he is ever-rooted in the infinite Reality. Reality is the foundation on which his personality rests. The four faces of Brahma represent the four Vedas. They also symbolise the functioning of the inner personality (antahkarana) which consists of thoughts. They are the mind (manas), the intellect (buddhi), ego (ahamkara) and conditioned-consciousness (chitta). They represent the four ways in which thoughts function. They are the manifestations of the unmanifest Consciousness

The significance of the 4 faced God from the Thai perspective is that the Great Brahma is able offer help to the people who cry to him from all directions, granting wishes to those who ask. It is widely thought that Phra Phrom offers protection from danger and prosperity in business.

The most famous image of Brahma or Phra Phrom is located at the Erawan Shrine which can be found at the intersection between Ratchadamri Road and Ratchaprasong Road in Pathum Wan district, Bangkok, Thailand. It is a popular tourist attraction and often features performances by resident Thai dance troupes, who are hired by worshippers in return for seeing their prayers at the shrine answered.

Interestingly Lord Brahma is not popularly worshipped in India. This is so, because the idea of creation is repugnant to seeker of Truth since the creation of thoughts has veiled the infinite Reality. The attempt of all spiritual seekers is to destroy the existing thoughts and maintain the state of single pointed thought until the Reality is revealed. Hence, Siva (god of destruction) and Vishnu (god of maintenance) are worshiped more than Brahma.

Phra Phrom will save you from black magic and the evil ones, brings you happiness, money and prosperity, help to make your good wishes come true, providing protection from danger, and endow the wearer with good luck and and fortune.


The significance of the the various objects held in the hands are:

Luang Phor Sawai has been an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhism way. Also, he successfully studies in Visha (magic) and making efficacious amulets. Na Pak Ser (real tiger forehead skin) with Lersi Yantra


In the Thai language a hermit is called a Lersi (Reusee) and in Khmer a rosei from Sanskrit rishī, that is, a forest dwelling visionary. As a matter of fact, in the oldest surviving Buddhist scriptures, the Buddha himself is referred to as the "Rishī" in the Pali form Isi.

In general Lersi are known as 'Ascetics' and are characterised by refraining from worldly pleasures. Those who practice this lifestyle hope to achieve greater spirituality. Essentially they believe that the action of purifying the body helps to purify the soul, and thus obtain a greater connection with the divine.

Originating in India before the time of Buddha most are hermits and live, study and meditate in caves or forests.


Essentially Phra Lersi are Indian hermits who are credited as founders and patron saints of various professions such as doctors, religious tattooists, white magic practitioners, herbalists and many others. There are a total of 108 scared Lersi (hermits) that are recognized by name and many others who are not. More often than not the Lersi is generically represented as an old man wearing a conical head dress and tiger skin robes.


In Indian mythology, Phra Lersi received worldly knowledge from the Gods and taught this to mankind. Thus Phra Lersi are known as Masters of knowledge and are frequently worshipped by students and others in academic pursuits. As Phra Lersi are also credited to be founders of the Thai magical arts, they feature prominently on the alters of magical practitioners in Thailand and are invoked in rituals.

Tiger in Chinese Culture
In China, tiger symbolizes power and daring. To this day, images of tigers and dragons are often paired off on walls of temples. The Chinese adore tigers for some reasons, tigers eat boars which are harmful to crops in the field, just like cats which eat rats. Tiger can catch boar as easily as a cat can catch rat. Tiger is also called as king of the mountain by the Chinese.

This fearless creature is also revered as the sign that wards off the main disasters of a household; ghosts, fire and thieves. A tiger painting is often hung on the wall inside the building facing the entrance, in this way the “demons” are scared away and cannot enter. The head of the tiger used to be painted on soldier’s shield in order to make the enemy terrified. Tiger is also associated with the God of Wealth (Chai Shen Yeh), this god is often seen sitting on a tiger in Asian art.

The pattern on the tiger’s forehead is very similar to the Chinese character “Wang” which means King, therefore the Chinese believe that people who born in the year of the tiger are natural-born leader.

Traditionally, children would wear shoes and hats made in the shape of a tiger’s head in the Chinese New Year time for the belief that the tigers would protect them from evils. Such decorations are very common in children’s things as they believe children are relatively more vulnerable. Tiger is also considered as the protector of the dead in Asian lore, and they are used as a mark of protection in graves assuring peace for those who have passed.

On the other hand, sometimes tiger can also be seen as a symbol of violence, danger and even evil. This is probably because tigers would often come out of the woods and terrorize small villages in ancient China. Tiger is a powerful and fierce beast that is considered extremely dangerous for human. According to Feng Shui experts, displaying tiger painting or sculpture especially a fierce, hungry tiger (with its mouth open wide) is not good and not recommended as it can cause the owner or people living in that house a lot of problems. The white tiger carries Yin energy according to Chinese astrology. In fengshui, the white tiger represents the cardinal direction of the west and its element is metal.
