Luang Phor Thuad Loop Lor(小金身仔) made and chanted Luang Phor Dum(Than Dum), Wat Mai Naparam in Narathiwat. (B.E. 2542)

With one gold takrut and LP's hair.

Luang Phor Dum(Than Dum) from Wat Mai Naparam in Narathiwat(near to the Kelantan border). LP Dum is an expert on making prized Piddta amulets with powers of invulnerability. LP Dum is not LP Kron's(Tok Raja) direct disciple. He learned the art of making protective amulets from another master.

Luang Phor Thuad amulets are well know to protect the wearer from danger, evil spirits and accidents. Many believe that amulets created in Luang Phor Thuad image hold great protective powers granting safety in times of distress, especially saving the lives of believers from seemingly fatal automobile accidents.

Luang Phor Koon (Copper Rian) chanted by LP own self, Wat Bahn Rai (B.E. 2517).

Biography

Luang Phor Koon was born on Thursday, 4th October BE 2466. He was raised in a well off family. His grandfather was an influential person and very well-known in the province of Nakon Raatchasima. He also known to possess Wichah (magic power), and unfortunately many people were afraid of him.

When Luang Phor Koon was 7 years old , his grandfather brought him to study Thai and Pali under Ah Jahn Cheum, Ajahn Saai and Pra Ajahn Lee in a temple near his house. Luang Phor Koon was ordained as a monk at the age of 21 years old at Wat Thanon HakYai on 5th May BE 2487. Phra Kru Wijahn Dtigit was the preceptor. Phra Kru Atigahn Torng Suk was his dhamma teacher. His monk's name was Pisuttoh.

Luang Phor Koon stayed in Wat Thanon HakYai to study dhamma, in addition Luang Phor Koon also learnt under Luang Daeng Wat Nong Poh. He learned dhamma, sammahdti and Wichah (magic). Luang Phor Koon was very diligent and studied hard

Seeing that Luang Phor Koon was so keen in learning, Luang Phor Daeng brought him to meet Luang Phor Kong who was the abbot of Wat HatYai. Luang Phor Koon became a disciple of Luang Por Kong who was in fact a forest monk, whom he was to accompany on long journeys in the jungles and forests.

Besides dhamma and sammahdti, Luang Phor Kong also taught Luang Phor Koon Wichah (magic) and tye technique of inserting takrut into a person's arm. After learning from Luang Phor Kong for some time, Luang Por Koon went Tudong alone. He went as far as Laos and Cambodia, remaining in the jungles for many years.

Luang Por Koon returned to Thailand after a period of 10 years, and resided at Wat Bahn Rai, Nakon Raatchaseemah. The first time, Luang Phor Koon came to Wat Bahn Rai, the temple was in a delapitated state. There was only a old Salah (shether), Bot (hall) and Guti (place where a Buddha Statue is generally placed).

Luang Phor Koon was determined to re-build this temple. He approached the abbot of the temple at that time, and asked for his help. The abbot told him that the temple did not have sufficient funds (only 10,000 Baht) and asked Luang Phor Koon how much money he required to re-build the temple. Luang Phor Koon replied that he needed 3 to 4 million Baht.

When the abbot heard that, he said that he had no ability to help, though it was his duties. Luang Phor Koon, then asked the villagers and his lay disciples to source for fund. Many people came forward and helped. The total fund collected was almost 2 million baht and Wat Bahn Rai was re-built.
Luang Por Koon was gradually gaining popularity in Nakon Raatchaseemah. Whenever, people heard Luang Por Koon wanted to build a temple or a school, many people would come forward to help. Luang Por Koon Had had built many schools, temples and hospitals in Nakon Raachaseemah. The devotees who go to Wat Bahn Rai, be it rich or poor, Luang Por Koon will meet them personally and bless them.

Some 10,000 people a day used to come to Ban Rai temple to be whacked or more gently blessed. That number is down since the Thai economy tumbled a number of years ago—although it probably should have increased. Most pilgrims come to him for one reason: to get richer. "They believe he has magic powers," says Amporn Charnkuntawat.

he is a strange phenomenon: a Buddhist ascetic who donates sums of money to the poor, but is seen nationwide as the guru who can best bolster your bank balance. Many devotees ask Khoon to tap their outstretched wallets. A few have requested samples of his saliva or urine to drink.

The monk's fame reached new heights in 1993, when a woman was pulled alive from the rubble of a collapsed hotel clutching an amulet with his image on it. Stories abound of Khoon followers who have won the lottery.
Luang Phor Koon chanted the most amulets in Thailand. Many temples and people would create the amulets and asked him to bless. He seldom rejected anyone when come to him for blessings. Luang Phor Koon is very good in the Wichah of inserting takrut. He would personally insert the takrut under the arm of the devotees, these takrut were well proven to protect a person from accidents, Metta and as well as Kong Grapan (immunity from weapons).

For almost 20 years, Luang Phor Koon chanted and inserted takrut, but now Luang Phor Koon had stopped due to poor health. However, he will still meet and bless the devotees who go to Wat Bahn Rai to pay respect to him.

Phra Somdej, Luang Phor Unn(Woon), Wat Tanggong (B.E.2548).

Biography of Luang Phor Unn

A highly respected and revered guru monk. Many people have related special occurrences whilst wearing amulets consecrated by this master.

Amongst the most widely reported experiences are successful business dealings and improvement in inter-personal relationships.
One of the most famous incidences related to a man who was robbed and shot with a revolver. All the ammunition pierced his outer garments but none penetrated his body. He was wearing an amulet by Luang Phor Oun at the time to which he he attributed his lucky escape.

Luang Phor Unn Sukakamo, officially named “Prakru Vinai Vacharakit”, was born on March 9th, B.E. 2459, to the family of Mr.Boon Inprom and Mrs.Lek Inprom. He was one of eight siblings.

His family lived in Nong Hintuang, a village of Marbplakao Sub-district, Thayang , Petchburi Province, where he was educated in both Thai and Khom (ancient Khmer) languages at Wat Saikhan. On July 21st, B.E. 2479, aged 20 years he was ordained at Wat Tankong by Pra Atikarn Chun, the abbot of Wat Marbplakao, Luang Phor Piu Dharmasiri, the abbot of Wat Tarnkong, Phra Atikarn Khao, the abbot of Wat Injumpa, who acted as Phra Upacha, Pra Karmavajacharn, and Pra Anusavanacharn respectively.

According to the Thai law, monks must be ordained by the Phra Upacha (an authorized monk), joined by two assistants namely Phra Karmavajacharn, and Phra Anusavanacharn.)
Luang Phor Un spent all his lifetime studying religious sciences and magic, learning from some of the foremost spiritual leaders of his generation.

1.Mr.Boon Inprom, his father, was his first sacred teacher teaching him the science to create Petchmani or Petchjinda, a kind of sacred powder that was often used in conjunction with other powders. Such as jindamanee to create amulets.

Moreover the Petchmani sacred powder was also thought to help cure various ailments and diseases. It is known that during his Mr.Boon Inprom had helped many patients with this powder.

2.Luang Phor Piu Dharmasiri, the abbot of Wat Tarnkong, one of the most sacred monks of Petchburi province, famous for his higher level meditation, although he rarely made contact with the world outside of the temple.

Most locals of the province, particularly the elders, were impressed by his sacred power. Such was the case of an 80 year-old man, who said that Luang Phor Piu possessed immense power and that simply writing a sacred spell onto the forehead of a worshipper would provide protection for eternity.

Also recorded is the case of a lucky teenager, who came from a neighboring province to pay homage to Luang Phor Piu who wrote a sacred spell onto his forehead. Months later that youth was attacked by a gang using knives and wooden batons. He survived uninjured.

3.Luang Phor Tongsuk, the abbot of Wat Tanodeluang, another specialist in high-level meditation science, including “Kasin 10”. He was also famed for the creation of sacred powder that could increase charm and attractiveness.

Kasin is a kind of sacred science that assisted in the practice of meditation and particularly to increase the resultant power. Kasin was divided into 10 sub disciplines including Techo Kasin (or fire meditation), Wayo Kasin (wind-power meditation), etc.

Luang Phor Tongsuk was blessed with a large number of devotees such as Luang Phor Kum of Wat Nongkair, Luang Phor Yid of Wat Nongjok, Luang Phor Pimmalai of Wat Hubmaklum, Luang Phor Nim of Wat Khaonoi, Luang Phor Ob of Wat Tumkaew, Luang Phor Paew of Wat Tanodeluang, Luang Phor Lair of Wat Prasong, etc.

As such it was difficult for Luang Phor Unn to become a disciple, but his sincerity was noticed by Luang Phor Piu who did eventually take him under his wing. Luang Phor Tongsuk taught many sacred sciences to Luang Phor Unn, including the sacred science to create Pong Phra Junkrungsik, Itijae, Patamung, Maharach and Narprapak powders.

These powders are considered five of the most important used by monks to create amulets, all respected for the inherent power that can help worshippers in many different ways such as protection, luck charm, fortune etc. Usually they are mixed with other auspicious constituents.

Two powders in particular, namely; Pong Phra Junkrungsik and Narprapak are thought to be very special indeed as very few monks possess the knowledge to create them. From a collectors viewpoint amulets made from such sacred materials are also hard to source. Indeed it is quite possible that this knowledge will be lost in the near future.

Luang Phor Unn was truly lucky to have learned these sciences, and as a result many of his amulets are considered very sacred.

Furthermore Luang Phor Unn also learned Luang Phor Tongsuk’s sacred Tattoo science, sak yant, which could protect worshippers from all kinds of weapons.

Many worshippers asked Luang Phor Unn for these sacred skin spells, because it was widely known at the time that they offered extreme protection. Luang Phor Unn stopped tattooing a few decades back after it was made known to him that many gangsters were abusing the power.

Luang Phor Unn also learnt two sacred spells called Na Pudtalod and Na Patamung from Luang Phor Tongsuk, which he often recites, even to this day to help protect those that come to give homage.

Na Pudtalod and Na Patamung two important sacred spells, which are commonly recited during blessing ceremonies, as they are thought to increase the power of amulets. These spells were used by Luang Phor Tongsuk and most of his known disciples.

4.Phra Atikarn Chun, the abbot of Wat Marbplakao, famous for his sacred sciences that could protect worshippers from knives, bullets and many other kinds of weapons. Luang Phor Un studied diligently learning all that he had to teach.

5.Luang Phor Jun, the sacred monk of Wat Marukatayawan, interestingly also a relative of Luang Phor Tongsuk. He specialized in the sacred science called “Sakod Chatri”, which when used appropriately could control fierce or dangerous animals.

Luang Phor Jun revealed that he had learnt this science from a senior Khmer monk, and had taught Luang Phor Unn because he believed him to be a good man

Apart from these five sacred teachers Luang Phor Un learn from many other experts such as Mr Chum who specialized in creation of charming wax, Mr.Mo, who also specialized in creation of sacred tattoos, etc.

Phra Upakut, Luang Phor Unn(Woon/Oun), Wat Tanggong (B.E. 2544).

Made : 1999 units

Phra Upakut was a Monk in the times of Maharaja Asoka the Indian king who first promoted Buddhism. In this time Buddhism was experiencing a lot of disarray and downfall because a lot of false people were entering Monkhood just to make money or eat free.

As a result the local people did not have much faith and were losing their faith in Buddhism. King Asoka (we call Asoka in Thai) was then calling upon the monks to do something - they had a committee meeting and it came about that some monks knew of a monk called Phra Upakut who was sat in the "belly button of the Ocean" (Sander Tale), meditating and entering Nirodha and Samaddti state of meditation (enlightened and free from suffering). It wold have been so difficult to find a monk whose practice and purity was higher than this one - so they decided to elect him to be the leader of the Sangha in order to save Buddhism

2 kinds of worshipping reasons
One reason is that he is a subdue of Mara demons and thus protects you from danger. Second reason is that he is a keeper of purity precepts whilst sitting in the middle of the water - this means he will prevent you from having any heated feelings or things that cause you to be disturbed, angry frustrated or unhappy..all these things are "hot" feelings.. the water around this Buddha, and his purity will keep you and your household cool and peaceful instead of hot and bothered. No heated disturbances in the household and family.

Pra Upakut is severely revered also in Chiang Mai province and most amulets and statues of him will be made there. This is probably the Burmese influence too because in past times Burma was always overlapping into the province and even to this day you can see that the monks in North Thailand wear red robes like in Burma not yellow like in the rest of Thailand.
The reason he is called Bua Khem is because khem (needles ) was used to refer to the Buddha Arahant relics used to implant in this statue (in original large statues of him) where 9 needles or relics were inserted into his forehead (1) shoulders (2) hips (2) Hands (2) and Knees (2)

Worship Phra Upakut:
Healthy, happiness, calm, peace etc all what you wish for. Great for wealth in place of business.

Phra Upakut Katha:
Namo Tassa (X3)
Upakuto Ja Mahathero
Upakuttang Ja Mahatherang
Panthawero Panthanu Pawena
Imang Gaya Panthanang Atit Thami (X9)

Phra Phrom(The four-faced Brahma Sahampati) 四面佛 (lead material), Luang Phor Unn(Woon/Oun), Wat Tanggong (B.E. 2549).

Phra Phrom(The four-faced Brahmā Sahampati) 四面佛
Brahmā Sahampati is an early Hindu religion dating back some 5,000 years. This religion is mainly symbolized by a trinity of Gods, namely; Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. It is believed that this Brahmanical triad combined their powers to create the Buddhist world.

One of the earliest iconographic descriptions of Brahma is that of the four-faced god seated on a lotus. In Thai Buddhism this Brahminist 4-faced god is known as "Phrom Sie Nah ", but it often referred to by others as the 4 faced Buddha.

Thai Buddhists highly respect many Brahminist gods including the 4-faced Phrom Buddhism grew out of a culture which believed in many levels of gods, called devas. There were also the highest level of gods, the Brahma gods, and Maha Brahma, the highest God.

Indeed many Thai religious ceremonies are heavily influenced by Hindu ritualistic practices even amulet consecrations. Buddhism as a religion is deeply rooted in early Hinduism from which it developed.

The description of Brahma like other deities of Hinduism bears a mystic symbolism. The lotus represents the Reality. Brahma sitting on the lotus indicates that he is ever-rooted in the infinite Reality. Reality is the foundation on which his personality rests. The four faces of Brahma represent the four Vedas. They also symbolise the functioning of the inner personality (antahkarana) which consists of thoughts. They are the mind (manas), the intellect (buddhi), ego (ahamkara) and conditioned-consciousness (chitta). They represent the four ways in which thoughts function. They are the manifestations of the unmanifest Consciousness

The significance of the 4 faced God from the Thai perspective is that the Great Brahma is able offer help to the people who cry to him from all directions, granting wishes to those who ask. It is widely thought that Phra Phrom offers protection from danger and prosperity in business.

The most famous image of Brahma or Phra Phrom is located at the Erawan Shrine which can be found at the intersection between Ratchadamri Road and Ratchaprasong Road in Pathum Wan district, Bangkok, Thailand. It is a popular tourist attraction and often features performances by resident Thai dance troupes, who are hired by worshippers in return for seeing their prayers at the shrine answered.

Interestingly Lord Brahma is not popularly worshipped in India. This is so, because the idea of creation is repugnant to seeker of Truth since the creation of thoughts has veiled the infinite Reality. The attempt of all spiritual seekers is to destroy the existing thoughts and maintain the state of single pointed thought until the Reality is revealed. Hence, Siva (god of destruction) and Vishnu (god of maintenance) are worshiped more than Brahma.

Phra Phrom will save you from black magic and the evil ones, brings you happiness, money and prosperity, help to make your good wishes come true, providing protection from danger, and endow the wearer with good luck and and fortune.

The significance of the the various objects held in the hands are:

1.Book signifies wisdom (Panna) leading to the right path to success
2.Chanting Beads signifies cultivation of good karma in the cycle of birth and death (Samsara)
3.Jug signifies ample water (wealth) where one would not be out of thirst opportunity to earn a living
4.Baton is used to discard all obtacles created by the evil ones
5.Shell signifies bringing luck and obtaining precious ones
6.Hand on the Chest signifies protection and safety

(The information about Phra Phrom is from others website. Just used for reference.)

Luang Phor Thuad(脚踏海水) chanted by Luang Phor Daeng, Wat Sri Maha Pho (B.E. 2536-2538).

Although many series of Luang Phor Thuad amulets have been consecrated and those crated at Wat Chang Hai are without doubt the most popular, many people unfortunately overlook equally sacred amulets created by one great Southern Monk, Luang Phor Daeng.

Phra Archarm Tim Dharmataro, also known as Prakru Visai Sobhon, was the head monk involved in the creation of the very first series of Luang Phor Thuad amulets at Wat Changhai, in B.E. 2497.

He invited many senior monks to the blessing ceremony, including Luang Phor Daeng Suntaro (Prakru Viruch Sobhon), a sacred monk of Wat Sri Maha Pho, a monk highly regarded for his dedication to the Buddhist faith.

This Luang Phor Thuad amulet made of sacred powder(Nua Wahn). This series of amulets was embedded with a sacred object known as “Petch Na Tung” along with a takrut. Great amulet for extreme protection against danger.

Bia Gae, Luang Pu Boon, Wat Klang Bang Kaew, Nakorn Pathom (B.E.24xx).

Bia Gae
The magic science to create Bia Gae amulets was known and inherited from the Ayuttaya Period or at least 400-500 years ago and many believe that the tradition is older than that.

Bia Gae (Cowrie/Cowry/Seashell, commonly filled with mercury and takrut) is a special kind of amulet which is widely use to avoid and protect from Black Magic, Evil Forces, Ghosts and Spirits.

Cowrie or Cowry shell is a very beautiful shiny tropical sea shell, it is humped back sometimes decorated with spots like a leopard skin. During ancient time in China, South East Asia and Africa, it was commonly used as coin or money. The Thai people called it Bia Gae and used it instead as a talisman for protection. The arched back of cowrie is like a shield and therefore it is believe that it could bounce off evil energy, similar to tortoise shell was employed by Feng Shui master in China for warding off bad energy. Mercury was also filled inside the cowrie, takrut then placed at the gap of the cowrie, and sealed tightly with special ingredients preventing it from leakage. Sometimes, it will be tied around with strings and painted with lacquer.

The wearer believes that he will be protected against: black magic, bad luck, evil forces and demons. Bia Gae are known to be effective for protection and in particular from evil influences and malevolent spirits. It is not uncommon for persons on their death bed to request such an amulet as protection from spirits that will endlessly disturb and torture the dying. It is said by some that such amulets will also help to set the soul free and give protection beyond the grave, ensuring a smooth passage into the next life.
