if enable physx in 800gt gc what difference does it make in current games? many games don't support it yet rite?
Added on August 8, 2008, 11:12 amcan the 177.79 driver for xp work with physx on 8800gt? i cant find download links for the 177.79 or 177.35 driver..

i downloaded 177.79 driver and the latest physx driver, it seems to be working. geforce physx is already selected in the nvidia physx properties.

even if thre is dx10 or vista exclusive games, the *ahem* still can manage to crack it and make it workable in xp  . might give vista a skip if the new windows os comes out soon enough..

yeah...cant wait to try out the tech demos, seems interesting. and yes, hope it's not too big, internet at my hostel also not so good. hope it's less than 500mb.

wow p35/p45 also can ar..not bad lor like that. 680i sli also can rite? besides 8800gt any 8 series have this feature? or a cheaper 9 series?

depends on budget lo..  what other cards lower than 9600gt can render physx? it can also run sli+physx mode rite? meaning if i have a 8800gt and 9600gt, both can render graphics and physx together? btw, anyone downloaded the physx pack already?

for me no problems so far. running smoothly. looking for GRAW2 now...din manage to play it last time. wanna see what's the difference with physx enabled.

i think it should be ok. 9600gso is not very far behind 9600gt, which is also not very far behind 9800gt in terms of performance.

the first batch of 9800gt is said to be a rebadged version of 8800gt. the 2nd batch is the new 55nm version, with support for hybrid power and hybrid sli. not sure whether the first batch has this features..
