engine mounting? rough accident may dislodge or displace the engine mounting (engine block is mounted via 3 sets of rubber)
i think in ur case.. shd be ok. run ur engine and see it vibrates

i think u shud check also ur tayar and alignment
*
huhu. my car still can run as usual. 100kmh still ok. no vibrate. alignment ok oso. steering no vibrate. but got a feeling its misaligned just a little bit. haha. my front right rim ok actually. hv no scratch what ever.

its just that, 5 min after i stop my car, a motorcyclist hit my front right rim and run away. wtf? vmad.gif

Another question, let's say I opted for the Medium-Line but suddenly feel like I want the airbag, can I fit it at EON? Or can I opt for a 3rd party one? Can I do it? Or I'm stuck with my earlier decision?
*
stuck with ur earlier decision. it would b very expensive if u decide to put airbag later on. and i dont even think EON have this service. donno abt 3rd party one. but putting all those sensor for airbag later on wouldn't b easy.

One question, if we are driving using the AMT's manual mode, when changing gears, should we release the accelerator pedal, push the gear knob, then resume pressing accelerator pedal?
or we can just change the gear without the need to release the accelerator pedal at all?

i mean when upshift and also downshift the gears.

Thanks.
*
i dont bother to release the acc pedal. the ecu will do the job to cut off the signal from acc pedal.

problems like jerking upon shifting to 2nd gear and hard to start the engine are minor to me, until i found the price for the gearbox replacement. whoa......it costs me at least rm11,000.
that's extremely high. i wonder if it's worth for me to buy 2nd hand savvy amt 2006 (RM24.888).

Added on May 11, 2009, 9:42 pmI just got back my car today... and those bunch of people just f*cked up my gearbox... now whenever i push to 1st gear, it's reverse...and the ring is useless... I have to find the 1st gear some where around the 3rd gear's position... and i lost my 5th gear!!I'm SOO PISSED!!!!

Anyway, I'm gonna send this back to the sc... Let the Proton guys handle this...

Moral of the story... not everyone knows how to drive our car.. so, do teach them to pull the ring up to engage reverse...
*
i really hate it when some1 else mess up with my car. if i did it myself ok la. but this...haih. i think the ring broken edy. need to put new one.

But now, the gear is kinda 'raped'... It just don't feel like how it used to be... Real sad...

Below 20k... mb no... below 30k yes...

Anyway AMT is kinda sensitive... so make sure it's a good owner that knows about the way to drive it...
With the right way to drive and maintenance... There should be no problems... I think the AMT sifu's are better in this...
But Savvy is sure a fun car!
*
i just make sure i put max on my aircond. especially during hot blazing days. to make sure the air in engine bay keep circulating. to make sure amt pump stay cold.

I'm thinking around 4 years.

The problem I was talking about is pretty well damn common issue that is inherent in every savvy.

My dad suggests sealing it with aluminum foil but my guess is that it'll prolong the life time before i have to clean it up again. Unless it's air tight, i don't see it as a permanent solution.

So thing is, any permanent solution?
*
i did read, got people seal the sensor. but if later sensor broken, very mafan cos u seal it edy. sweat.gif
