1) could be, or it could be just your throttle body needs cleaning. 2) no, only the coil 3) yes, cos the base design of the coil itself is faulty 4) for me, bought car in 05, after ~2 years had to change once, now approaching 3.5 years old starting to super jerk & hard to start again.

QUOTE(dawghause @ May 13 2009, 08:45 PM) With near vertical depreciation, its the best second hand buy for the average poor Malaysian. Sob sob, way to rub it in for those of us who bought new in '05 ... my Savvy has depreciated so quickly it's depressing just thinking about how much $$ I've lost and how quickly

Jerking not necessarily ignition coil, could be crank sensor as well.
My Savvy 1+ year ago engine was super heavy jerking/knocking, that one was ignition coil problem.
Last few months had light jerking at low revs + hard to start, that one was crank sensor problem.

QUOTE(Matrix @ Jul 9 2009, 11:57 AM) Just a question. Do you guys find ur front tyres cepat botak?? It's natural for FWD cars front botak faster than rear, not just Savvy. Especially if you're a more "aggresive" driver. Having said that, my Savvy front tires doesn't botak evenly, outside botak quicker than middle/inside. But alignment isn't out though *shrug*. So far I've changed tires every 35k km, never bothered rotating.

wewt someone hit my backside yesterday =[ a wira hit me ... the wira had quite a bit of damage, one light broke, the front 6 inches of the bonnet bengkok, and the front bumper was recessed in 6 inches. My savvy ... the back bumper got a bit dent and some scratches ... and my muffler bengkok to one side about 3 inches ... but that's it ... don't even need to do any repair lol.
