ur car still new?
urs amt? u use D or Manual mode?
at which rpm u change ur gear?
r u a heavy footer?
hv u adjust ur engine hood? there's 2 nut where u can adjust it so ur cai can hv more air/room to breath.

i try adjusting those nut. i am not sure its really help or not but i realize that, if too much or too little gap, my fc become worst.

mine is amt and now i always use manual mode instead of D. due to in D gear always change between 2.5 - 3 k rpm. if change more than 3k rpm in D, i consider myself as heavy footer. in manual i always change my gear between 2 - 2.5krpm. i also realize in manual mode my auto lit never turn on.

i become a light footer. i let myself pressing the throttle at easy pace instead of pressing it hastily. be gentle on ur throttle.

if possible try not to use ur brake frequently.

thats what i did. now my fc in city is around 15-16km/l (average speed between 60-90kmh). highway 16-17km/l with average speed around 120kmh. if in highway i drive more than 120kmh my fc gonna b worst. sweat.gif

my car turn out to hv better fc when it start clocking at 8k km. now my car clock at 11k km edy. smile.gif

amt got clutch but got monkey doing the job for u.
*
yeah new car... mt... i usually shift gear vry fast 1... around 2 or more thn tht a lil bit... thn chg d...
i'm quite a heavy footer la... but my savvy, how heavy am i also, until around 90 it'll not accelerate so much edy...
I think i must learn to be a light footer... i heard 50 & 90 km/h is the best speed for fc right?

The 2 nut? emm, how to adjust? i mean, how do i know 'how tight' is the best? any guide? rclxub.gif

How much is a pair of foglamps for savvy? including installation... unsure.gif

Btw, hyper bro... if u r free, can update the number 28? icon_idea.gif MT, black, Oct08, 1500km as Nov08...Stock~

how on earth to calculate fc?
no fc meter 1

For me la... just pump full tank... thn reset the mileage meter... thn until the next time i pump full tank again... i can divide the mileage to the liters used...

Jeff... i saw your blog... got a lot of information... and i saw the "Savvy Won 4 cars shootout in Taiwan! Malaysia Boleh!" topic... Anyway, Savvy MT really doesn't give any problems... AMT's have more problems i think... icon_rolleyes.gif

For me la... Savvy is bad in acceleration (i mean from 0km/h... maybe i'm not used to the car)... 2nd gear no power... 4th gear ratio too low (i mean, 4th gear seems to pull me back... is it called high or low?)... 5th gear got weird weird sound... vry noisy car... not spacious... and i think lot of people dun like the design... i feel the orange signal in front is vry ugly...

Special experience i had... turn off engine but engine didn't stop.. brake light cannot off...

Positive 1 got alot... i think i dun hv to tell also u guys know... stable car, good at corners, good mid range acceleration, good top speed... Most importantly... burn less fuel...

Death_nite, thanks for the info... will try it later...

Is manual transmission savvy less problematic compared to AMT?
Hardly find any reviews for manual, most of the owners are using AMT.
*
Of course manual is less problematic than AMT, cuz it's simpler and it's not a new thing ... but AMT is more complicated and fun thing... i'm using manual anyways..

Abt the rusty exhaust pipe... mine also like tht.. nothing 1 la.. engine dun rust can edi... brows.gif

Thought of buying AMT, but read a lots of problem discussed in savoc. Quite a bit worry of getting one.
How is your manual performs? Did she kacau or mengamuk?
Wondering that will P1 fix all these problems for the 2009 batch. But I guess mostly not. ohmy.gif
*
Manual got no 'she' 1... everything is urself... u dun mengamuk in traffic jam, thn can d whistling.gif
AMT got monkey to do the job for u... ur job is just to tame the monkey... thn u can enjoy the relaxing auto mode, and exciting manual mode...

i mean, get Amt if u like amt, not all amt's got problem de... if got also, here got sifu's to help u out icon_idea.gif

For me, MT is good because i kinda can take control of everything, i hate computers doing things for me... honestly i even hate the drive by wire thing... kinda make everything slow, not responsive at all...

may i know the difference/purpose of between K&N air filter injection kit and Hotbits injection kit heat-shield? and hotbits doesn't have muffler for savvy or the rear section is actually the muffler? sorry i am noob in car-modifying field
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

so anyone wanna upgrade?  brows.gif
*
For my info, air filter is the thing used to filter the air... heat shield is used to make sure cold air enters the engine.
hotbits doesn't have muffler... means it will be jz the pipe (like those savvy lite)...
muffler is the fat fat thing... used to cancel off the sound... <correct me if i'm wrong>

All new Savvy bought in 2008 comes with 5 years warranty? For all Lite, Medium-line and High-line?
Anyone bought their Savvy in this year 2008? Have you got your P&O policy showing that it covers the warranty for 5 years? Mind to share some info? Thanks.
*
I got mine in 08... the warranty card is together with the car manuals?

Tenkiu bro junyen and deodoran, understand it clearly now. but wanna ask something regarding exhaust, if i install the hotbits exhaust system, for sure my pickup will increase but will it affect my topspeed? (means difficult to attain top speed?)
one more thing, my car is amt, installing it wont harm the complicated amt system rite?
Yeps, i am using voltage stabilizer. brand zaptor. what i can say is, it makes my ride smoother. when i first install it, i do notice the effect immediately  nod.gif
*
why do u say it'll affect your topspeed? i thought it'll be easier to reach your topspeed and even higher topspeed? Due to more horsepower.. and the waste air is exhausted faster?

AMT is just the gear box.. installing these things are related to the engine only... if i'm not mistaken..

Voltage stabilizer is for wat? For the 'Drive by wire'?
