joeys, i put em in a box while cleaning the cage.  . AND thanks to crazymouse for the ant repelling idea. Tried yesterday, with the vaseline, vinegar and talc. i got rid of the ants

Other brands are a no no coz they contain additional stuff. So far only Repti Cal and Repti Vite is the safest. You can PM KP, she is selling Rep cal in small packs....

Rep Cal and Vionate need to import, quite hard loh, last time KP help import wan. Now she is using glider vitamins, you can get from her as well.

Crickets ah.... I just hold using my fingers and give. My gliders straight away attack the cricket and start munching away. They really enjoy crickets more. If you plan to put in a bowl, best is you cut off all the legs..... I use scissors for this....

You can gutload with cricket feeder and veggies.... but you make sure you check the crickets everyday, coz if mati, you have to throw away the dead ones coz very smelly if they rot. Gut load also 48 hours coz this would help you locate the healthy and the bad ones.
Your case is strange hahaha. Try crickets.
My gliders eat either from the bowl or lari to 1 corner with 1 piece of fruit. How big is the fruit? You chopped it up? I think she is just manja with you.
That's normal if she pees in her pouch or sits in her pee that is inside her wheel. You can't do much... is permanent staining hahahah.... it may fade a bit but there will always be some brownish stains.

Ants, common to see them. Only way is to get Vaseline, apply a thin layer on the cage legs. Then apply a circle of talcum powder around your cage or spray non-diluted White Vinegar around the cage and let it dry naturally.

i hv 1 question..what's the age that a sg can glide?
coz i never seen Ecah glide n she's about 6 mths..
whenever i hold her on my hand n try to make her glide,she will either jump or crawl back to my shoulder..

You'll need a solid tray (those yellow coloured ones that they put in the bakery) and use rolled oats as bedding. Make sure you cover the top. For mine last time, I used to custom make the lid by using pieces of wood and very fine mesh (mosquito mesh) nailed to the wood) The 'habitat' breeding gound must be moisture free in order to prevent mold from growing. Mold is harmful to the mealworms, killing them. Mine can last for more than a week and then they eventually become beetles. One point to bear in mind, you must make sure you can control your mealworms ratio properly as in being able to clear out a decent amount if not you'll end up having more beetles than mealworms (larvae). Make sure you cover the top.

P/S : Remove any wet bedding to prevent mould from growing.

Yes. Pupa is safe for gliders to eat. All 4 of my SGs loves it.
Still haven't try it on Bubba yet as he is still shy & hardly comes out of the sleeping pouch.
I'm gonna let him be until he's ready to explore cos I don't want to cause any more stress as I'm still in the process of moving hse.
After everything settled then I'll start torturing him

sumtimes sum ppl will not really finish to research all bout SG or mayb get sum wrong info from other website or petshop, when THEIR made any mistake here, pls tell o r teach them gently n patient.. nvr straight away to critize ppl or scold.. b4 i ask few quetion in forum oso get scold from other senior, wut unfriendly   y muz read finish the 1st page? i ask in forum atleast can get closer wit other member~juz giv ppl a chance..

I do not think what I replied is harsh.... firstly the girl had no proper knowledge, and she bred them! Come on lah, if she is not prepared to be a breeder, and sell with improper info, do you like it? Maybe you have not seen the cruel world......

I am certainly one of the members here who would say what needs to be said but I certainly do not scold or flame in any rude manner. Capital letters are used to highlight words. My advice to her is stern and strong to make her know that she is doing something wrong. Harsh...... looks like you forgot who is the harsh one here.

"thanks for the info but gliders need to be in pairs, siblings still ok" then it would go on being me replying "but brother and sister cannot inbreed" and she would go on with some bogus stuff by saying siblings know each other.

Maybe you are new, but did she ask questions in this forum? NOOOOO>.... she straight away just advertise herself in this thread and also post in garage sales..... purely just wanting money. Good breeders and glider keepers would never skip this thread for sure.

Yes jshiong it's what u mean there, when she inside her sleeping pouch with joey, she'll shake shake shake and some vibrating sound come out also.

Reason i dont want bring her see vets is because i hope that there's something that she can eat to cure herself.
for example: I myself also dun see doctor, when i fever i drink coconut juice.

I also give them drink coconut juice and twice a week i give them eat coconut meat which is very very rich of calsium.

Now i rarely hear that sound i hope she's ok ok a bit, but still a little weak le.

What u guys give your glider mom eat when she feeding milk?

Hey KP, long time no see.

I've brought Billie to a hotel before. It's alright to bring but a pouch and portable cage is highly recommended as you will need to keep them somewhere when you're too busy to watch over them.

Billie went boing boing all over the room and inspected the dustbin cuz I threw some pumpkin seed shells inside. She also climbed onto the sofa and nosed around us while we tried to get the photo printer to work.

Don't forget to pick up the poo.

A few minutes ago Billie enjoyed 2 dubia roaches. She ate and ate away until there was nothing! Really, she didn't leave a morsel. Pictures soon, my card reader's not with me.

Just wanna share with u guys. My joeys turned 1 mth OOP on June 29.  very fluffy hair. Love it. Also very energetic, jumping here and there. Here are some pics while they were sleeping on my bed. Very like to sleep also . Also picture of one of them riding on mom's back.
