Another way to keep ants away from mealworms is to put your mealworms in the fridge after gutloading. LOL.... but most of us won't do it.... it's a bit disgusting rite?

Anyway, everyone in this forum gains... we got lots of knowledge here. True that some may be rude, or clueless, or ignorant or plain newbie, but we share 1 thing in common, we love or have interest in gliders. So let us keep this glider thread going.
*
that is so true... and i hope theres no more flaming in this thread. And because of this 'flaming section' started in this thread. theres alot of newbie here who own SG or soon going to own SG are afraid to ask question. so please mod, can u do something about this issue? i hope those senior in this SG thread to be more friendly and not flaming newbie. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi!
Welcome aboard.

Maybe the lights are too bright n she wan't to hide in ur shirt.
Not too sure bout that, my gliders want to play when they r out of cage.
Unless it's bright, then they'll try n hide.

yes u are friendly thumbup.gif tongue.gif

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Aug 18 2008, 12:23 AM)
Today, I manage to cut nails for both Moka and Luna. Moka is more relax when I hold her and cut her, some parts she will jerk maybe because pain. I know I'm supposed to avoid the pink parts. No blood, all good. Later let her roam my kitchen until my grandma said how can I let a mouse run where humans eat?!

Later on it was Luna's turn, she is scared and shit a lot, even dirtied her own tail and want to wash but it's at night. Cannot find my baby wipes so need to buy tomorrow.

My gliders arent as tame or attached as most of you guys because I rarely have time with them but still trying, least Moka is tamer now. I figure that I'll bring them out in a tong when travelling in a car so they can see me and I can see them. Reason being Luna always hide at the bottom of the bonding pouch whenever we're out. Moka more adventurous, kaypoh and look see. Now, I'm going to use pail instead with a net cover at the top. When getting down from car only use pouch, else people will think this weirdo take pail for what?

Added on August 18, 2008, 12:25 amCan you guys show me how you keep your mealworms? I know some of us keep in little aquariums but how do you separate them from their poo? I've heard of using sieve many times but I cannot imagine the structure / design. Appreciate a photo!
*
the easiest way to cut their nails is during their sleep time, and when they are inside their sleeping or bonding pouch, prefer sleeping pouch because it has bigger open space and more soft for u to roll out the pouch

just now she explored my table while I'm typing... run here n there then suddenly jump back to my arms.... she jumps back to me sometimes....

QUOTE(Jamien @ Sep 3 2008, 12:47 AM)
The Devil aka Frey is getting better lar. She jumps back to me more often. hmm.gif But I can't seem to get her to glide. biggrin.gif And she feels behind my hair at my neck is the safest place. Also, she lets me grab now without making too much fuss about it.

Oh, Marcus, congrats on your new girl. happy.gif Hope I have the chance to meet them both someday.
*
congrats with ur bonding process with Frey rclxms.gif its gonna take abit of effort huh laugh.gif

QUOTE(Jamien @ Sep 3 2008, 01:03 AM)
biggrin.gif But Judy is a sweetie right? How can compare? And no crab pots are as bad as Frey la. So it can't be that bad.

hmm.gif It makes you wonder though. What happens when a crab pot meets another crab pot.
*
bahahahhaha
u should have seen my Ryuu when the 1 month i got my Ryuu, a very very pouch protective, hard to hold, once let free he will definitely hide/run to place that are hard to find doh.gif (definitely like Gizmo tongue.gif because they are related) anyway, after a month, i manage to make him less crabbing, but for holding him and running here and there is still in same condition sweat.gif

lol, i can almost say frey is about the same as when i first  got her. She is relatively tamer but can see she still needs a lot of work to bond. Also, she's still incredibly pouch protective.
*

laugh.gif dont u think that they are looks cute and silly when they love to run from us and crab laugh.gif
anyway, all the best with ur bonding process thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

*
female first, then male

QUOTE(aurion @ Sep 3 2008, 05:16 PM)
he got female first
*
warh! u knew about it? thumbup.gif

QUOTE(mattemily_85 @ Sep 3 2008, 05:28 PM)
so need either 1 get neuter ar if both also male?
*
if both is male - male / female - female. no need to neuter of course. if ur putting 1 female and 1 male in a cage, and u dont want to breed them, so u need to get 1 of them neuter smile.gif
