hoh, i forget to mention about this.

last weeks, i went to this petshop near my office here in ss15, called Petsmore.com
they got sugar glider for sale there, and i think its a 6 month or older sugar glider, because it quite big than joey.
the condition of the cage its very bad, its not even a cage actually, its juat and exo tera glass terrarium.
its a very small terrarium  only got 1 small branch inside the terrarium, b4 this, i saw got coconut shell for the sugar glider to sleep, now got nothing inside there except 1 small branch. So i asked the shopkeeper, "eyh, mane itu coconut shell?" the shopkeeper answered "ouh... itu kite sudah angkat kluar, sebab nanti kalau customer datang mau tengok itu sugar glider, tak nampak ooo"   

so i asked "berapa harga ni?" he answered "RM380" i was like 
(mahalnye!)

some more that guy said,  "ini binatang bela mmg save, tak byk makan, kalau makan pun makan apple, tapi kalau mahal sikit, makan makanan anjing"


and that shop only used normal wood shaving bedding for that glider 
pity that sugar glider.

i want to capture the picture of that sugar glider and share with u guys, but my HP rosak

sumtime she awake mintak makan n go back to sleep...sumtimes...she juz slep soundly...
when me n my gf go for jalan2...
she like to move around my body n jump to my gurl...
n wen sukie is tired...she go to my gf jaket pocket...n rest..hehe...

Read this to see a half dead chinchilla in a petshop. The orange colour can give you a clue.... which petshop uses orange for it's interior and also staff clothes?

nope, i didnt clean my Wodent Wheel everyday, because my Mika always hissing (calling me i guest) and then when i take her out from the cage, She will poo and pee anywhere (yg sempat) on body 

Today i went to a pet shop in Petaling Street... The one shop called something zoological supplies. The animals on sale there were in inhumane conditions. There was a sugar glider kept in a "Guppy" plastic tank (the smallest size about 6inchX3inchX4inch"). The poor sugar glider didnt even have place to move. It just lay there bunched up and motionless. And the worse part is, the tank is put under a very bright fluorescent light! Sugar gliders are nocturnal animals, imagine the suffering it has to endure!!! And also... the price is not cheap... RM420 for the sugar glider in such a poor condition.

Mika hissing (some sort of calling me) and when i took her out from the cage, she will pee and poo on my arm (or anywhere in my arms) so this is normal.

I got a few quest

1. Is it normal for SG to love mealworm and than fruits? veggie jgn ckp la, my Mika love veggies than fruits 

2. Can SG eat durian? 

it's probably due to staining.
She might be peeing in her pouch, that's what cause the stain.
Clean the pouch a bit lo.
It's nothing to worry about.

That's normal if she pees in her pouch or sits in her pee that is inside her wheel. You can't do much... is permanent staining hahahah.... it may fade a bit but there will always be some brownish stains.

I think thats the case too..already become extra-manja now...even malas to hold the mealworms now. I have to hold it for her, if the mealworms so active baru Pika pegang sendiri...dunno how she gonna react when Piya & BoBo arrive..haihhhhhh  

anyway, i try many ways..chopped it up to small cube size, chopped finely..then even use food processor to make it really fine...but she didn't hold the fruits..she'll either lick the juice, ignore it, and sometimes eat it if she really like it...only Slurp she'll finish it off...treats pun tak mau gigit..will lick jer...

I have never seen it done and the nails and fingers are so tiny. I where got dare...  If cut off something and bleed like crazy how.

i get ur note liao.thanks for the info,but me also searched before that joey if owned too young will difficult to take care even easy die..so kinda blur oso....

so wat is ur oppinion on suitable age of joey that can be own?
