Do your research first.. it's not just putting a male & female together..
Not all cases everything goes well..
So when this happens, it's just a heartbreaking scene..

If you don't plan to breed, neuter!!!!

why hor...these few days i saw my cindy is like to stay inside the pouch or inside the terowong de ? she dun like to come out..but when i go there, she will pop her head up..if i put my hand in she only will jump to me....if not hor, she just sit inside and dun come out..only casper gila gila walking around in the cage....why ar ?
if midnight i dont know...cos i saw them around 10pm-11pm litat....they wake up by tat time and 7am++....y leh ?

Keeping pets and breeding are two different things..
And the proper care for them is different too..
The info is not available on the 1st page coz i guess TS does not encourage owner to breed unneccessarily..
So if anyone who plan to breed, please get in touch with those reliable breeders first and get some info..

Anyway, this poor joey is not from my breeding pairs and in this case it's something like rejected by a young mom..
I'll update on how she's doing and damn i'll post the pic of her cage soon.. so damn great cage!!!

Can you imagine he nak guna hamster cage for gliders...... teruk teruk..... I doubt his dad would build him a large cage if his dad is busy with his pet birds......

Anyway, today another sad sight.....

I went to Brickfield's petshop.... saw the worker using hair dryer to dry the gliders. The gliders were all wet.... I asked why he use hair dryer.... he said he mandikan them and was suppose to sun them but it started to rain so he hair dry them...... can you imagine the stress? The gliders were super duper stressed up.

Then I saw small cages with coconuts, then I ask, are those for breeding? He said they use small cages to separate the female that is pregnant..... and there got some joeys inside, he said will be ready soon.  Sigh......

Then I headed to the stall that is at KL Sentral's outdoor bazaar that is connected to Monorail.... there got extremely small joeys, they got nothing to hide in but a hanging food container, all masuk in and cramp gila. I think there were more than 10 underage joeys.... they are as small as a small dwarf hamster, Bubba looks 2 times bigger than any of the joeys.... from their tails, they are roughly 4 weeks OOP only.... selling for RM300.... but so sickly....

Hello guys. Im new here.  I just buy 1pair of SG today after i do research about it for 1week. I start fall in love to it after i read this thread. Aiyoh. Such as big influent lor.     .Anyway, recently i hve 1pair of budgie, 9 disscuss, 4 angel fish, 3 gold fish n 2 arowana. So bcos i hve oredi fish n bird, now i want try SG as my next pet.    I buy it at bazaar between KL Sentral n Monorail. 1st i go look at Bandar Tasik Selatan, wah...sooo bloody xpensive. RM350 for 1 baby SG. Sigh!!   Then i try look at that bazaar, RM300 per each. Aiyoh, y so expensive lor. Just bcos im very2 fall in love to them     , so i bought it for 1pair = RM600. I gve name Gucci for male n Nanny for female. Seller said they just 3-4month yo. Still small but not small like at Bandar Tasik Selatan. Gucci n Nanny is oredi tame     . Wah, so i dun hve too much work to do with them since they oredi tame n can play on my body oredi. Just some time they seem like scare n worry     . Now they sleeping. Still sleep in small container just for a while n will move them to big bird cage very soon after i cleaning it. When i think back, wah, i used money soo much today for buy it but when i look at them   , thats feeling is gone   . expecially when they look at me like the cat in shrek movie. so cute n shining eyes. can someone teach me how to put pics here? so i can show to u guys about my Gucci n Nanny.  ;-)

Dunno how many underaged joeys are around in the market now.
I can see theem everywhere.
I just went to 2 petshops in pg n each of them have at least 10 unnderaged joeys.
N they all looked sickly...
Tail also not fluffly yet.
They are all soaked...such a sad sight

We do not need SPCA to help us in this matter if we could do this by our own.. It's so easy, stop supporting!

why not we all print infomation about SG and give to pet shop that sell underage joey.?
