Maybe your glider are not ready to take solid food yet. Try contacting Hun or Reanne to learn how to deal with underage joeys.

Sometimes, it because they never take solid food before, so they dint know what to do with the food.
Yeah, you should teach her to take solid food by handfeeding. Once she adapts to them well she surely will take it by herself.

I think the size is okay. I've seen worse. But the tail is not fluffy yet and she doesnt take solid food that well. She will need a really good care. Lets wait for either Reanne or Hun to see the pictures.

try others fruit as laici , and rambutan , some suka other fruit
soak ur hand with slurp and try giving them mealworm

when i first show xena to hun ,she saiz feed more mealworm to her.

for young gliders, offer soft type fruits..
example: mango, papaya and such..

if you really had done your research, you should have know that you'll need to introduce them to mealworms.. since you already said have done research, i'll definitely flame you if there's any stupid question or complaints.. coz you should have known all this before actually buying them..

underage or not what can we do since you already bought it.. what YOU should do is proper care.. 1 question, have you bought the slurp?? please read more on glider.. don't simply say you have done your research coz it seems you're still lack of info..

hmm my bro has been keeping her since march..n he said she eat a lot..
must be the pressure becoz he left her..
but it's ok..i'll keep feeding her till she become gemuk again..

another info, joeys start taking solid food since 3-4 weeks OOP.. so not taking solid food wouldn't be a problem if they are over that age..

first day taking back your pet, you shouldn't be putting any stress/pressure on them.. leave them in their cage to let them adapt with new environment and let them explore their cage and eat anytime they want.. no need to force or wait to see them eat..

ok thank you bonai, sorry for the stupidity, i didnt buy the slurp, but im going to buy it after this, since im working and i bought the joey at 2 am last night from wayne (LYN nick : -Nos-)
firstly i saw the joey i dont really want to buy it, but i pity them since that wayne didnt give them much attention and abit wild plus the joeys are sleeping in a really small cage.

i really only want to see the joeys only, since my gf told me that "kesian gile tgk diorang(the two joeys) diabaikan"
so i bought 1 of them, im thinking about buying both of them, tapi tak cukup cash la.
i tak buat much preparation, but at least, at my house i got a larger cage.

thats the reason why im not well prepared and i know the joeys seem to be underage.
its better me who taking care of her than that guy kan.

OMG.... you bought from that guy? Why never check with us? That joey is not 2 months old.... how old? Well, that is actually a 3 to 4 week old joey. The size, fur, tail..... sigh..... Did not we said before to never buy underage joeys? My blog already got article that we should not support such sellers. To you is maybe rescue lah from that guy but it's all wrong and unethical for the seller to sell the joey that young.

You know why she can't take mealworm yet? Coz she is not fully weaned. Even baby Bubba is now 33 days and he has not touched solid food yet.

Shaking is a sign that she is scared. Hiding in your hair is a sign that she wants security.... all these are sign of underage joey.....

I know that she is underage, but saving her is what i thought, is there any way to save her?

If this happens to every single person who sees a very pitiful animal kept in a small cage,being mistreated,malnourished or whatever, then don't you think the person who's selling it feels happy that people would wanna buy their animals?
Once you beli pun, they will restock kan? It doesn't change the way they treat their animal..
so you cant say you feel pity for it because instead you'd be making the others suffer..
