Cube15 has limited amp modelling right?

MicroCube has "Classic Stack" ... which is kinda 80's rock distortion sound. I think larger Cube has this setting.

Hmm have you tried using a software amp ? You need to find those connector thingees that can let you connect your electric guitar to the pc ( sorry am a noob dont know what they are called) , Get a copy of Ableton Live 7 (leave it up to you to find out how heh) , And then get Ampitube Metal , Once you hear the distortion you will be utterly flabbergasted... heh , I can vouch for Amplitube HANDS DOWN SUPER PROGRAM ! , Havent used Native Instruments GUITAR RIG.

i'd say a mahogany / humbucker guitar into fender amp shall do the trick. Goal is to push mids and treble, get a crunchy attack, but still keep it smooth sounding. A compressor might help. A bit of reverb / delay also perhaps.

Anyway, the sound is in the attitude, there. NY spirit !
