are aman damai rooms assigned for two ppl or will there be one person? my bro's gf used to stay there she said there's three beds but only two ppl staying. and it's super hot because there's only one small, tiny fan. if i get the lower bunk for the double decker bed it's even hotter.

that's 3 years ago, wondering if it's refurbished in these few years...

after orientation week u can go home at saturday and sunday , senior told me about it ... so u can consider bringing ur laptop after orientation ^^

Regarding your Qs,

1: NOOOOOO... All electrical items are BANNED, except like chargers for laptops/cells. But you can bring there, just that you have to keep it in a proper place. Once you get caught using it during spot checks (which is very rare lah), you'll be fined RM50 and ur name will be blacklisted (or smth like that). If you're scared, there are kettles provided (shared by many others), which I think is erm... pretty unhygienic. I did bring mine there, so far I'm still safe lol. *touch wood*

2. Yup... But do bring your own pillow and sheets.

3. As in #1, NOOOOO... But they are provided in the laundry room.

oh, i see..thanks . Would you recommend bringing an electric kettle then? Im not from anywhere near penang so need 2 get everything ready.. do you know when is the nearest 1-week break? mid sem maybe? Can go back get more "rubbish"
