so unless anyone could buy from online store from other countries that still keep the stock ... else there's very little chance for the case appear in the store front for now ..

hmm .GT1000.. a case with very thick construction but not practical. .

especially the dual front intake fans.... although it looks nice but just to much of maintenance hassle in the end of day . . . .

Where is ATE? which floor? Currently, there are only silverstone and lian li have affordable aluminium casing?

And what is the model for the stylish lian li casing? Its shape like number 6
*
Ate is at 2nd floor , Lot 2-07....

QUOTE(blessedvillain @ Jun 1 2007, 03:13 PM)
oh...the snail looking casing....it's lian li memorial series. Last time I check was RM9XX but i think now ATE is giving special discount when I asked a week ago. It should be RM7XX if i didnt hear it wrongly..
*
Its RM777.. nice deal for the size given ..

QUOTE(vincent09 @ Jun 1 2007, 03:46 PM)
Hehe when i plan to get the G7 already no stock already. No choise then i take PC60-plus, but until now i still like it very much.
*
it's one of the best casing they have every produced .. (LL)..

Anyway to all that interested with Lian Li PC-A10 ..

now u could bring ur old case for trade in programme ..

ATE would give RM200 of rebate for PC-A10 for the old case ..

that makes the selling price is RM598..... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

heheh..It's like owing a luxury apartment to house ur precious belongings...

@E-J@1
It would be like one of the Zalman silent case that features totally passive cooling .. .

I wonder how heavy it would be with the heatpipe case ...

@Phoenixwunin

That depend on how well the case airflow u are looking for ??

for that budget maybe better just get a case with dual 12cm and do some modding ..

it depend on how hot it ur graphic card.... if it's like those crazy monster that consumed 100 watts or more then side fan is definitely a must.. for exp: 8800 series, X1900 series and up..

if it's not too hot and the gc has a decent cooler that could dissipate heat in very short of time... then side fan may not be necessary ..

It would be better to provide cool air in and rely on both exhaust and PSU fan to draw the hot air out ...

i am looking for a casing.my budget is 400.i have narrow my choices to lian li and antec casing. i am looking for a mid tower atx casing.newbie, what casing do you all recommend.
*
Lian Li PC-A05 .. .small size yet able to fit in enough component for normal PC ..

unless u are using many roms and hdds.. else this is one of the best small ATX sized case ....

QUOTE(jasonkwk @ Jun 13 2007, 06:21 PM)
PC-7s and antec p180 which one is better, barring the price?
*
PC-7s for lightweight and better cable management .... unless u are really obsessive about silent proof case .. else PC-7s a is better choice.

QUOTE(Phoenixwunin @ Jun 13 2007, 07:06 PM)
aside from the bulk.. any other place in Penang selling Lian Li's casing??
*
Call up ATE and ask whether can ship to ur location, usually they do so ....

That also depend the heat level of the gc used ... if the case fit with extra hot producing gc ... a side patent fan is a big help that doesn't cost anything for 5 degrees straight out from the box ..

of course for aesthetic look it would be better without the side fan ,,,,

It could fit just be careful with where u secure the HDD.. .

Beside it's all about the layout of the PCI-E slot on ur mobo against the Hdd Cage,,,

I would prefer to have side fan attached to the case rather the side panel ...

coz the fan cable have to be removed each time removing the side panel. ...

just my cents .. .. .

hmmm both case might get into problem when fitting with 8800GTX due to the extended length of the card....

So it would be recommended to grab Lian Li PC A-16 .. the Hdd cage is relocatable .. so it won't block the gc ,,,

but one could just ask ATE staff to try a test fit of the case with the graphic for better view before decide to purchase the case or not..

A16 is a better case for both cooling and flexibility as it got relocatable HDD cage that comes with 12cm for cooling, ventilations holes for cooling .... regarding the dust it shouldn't be a big problem since there's no fan attached to the holes to pull air aggressively .. so dust accumulation wouldn't be much problem...

B20 works when u are looking for silent case as this is really a quiet case with lots of closed area such as the front panel, 8cm rear fan and the side panels come with noise absorption mat.. but it does suffer of poor cooling performance due to the closed area...

so it depend on the type of setup and personal preference of the outlook to decide which case to grab ...

for my own personal opinion if u are thinking or having possibility of using something hot inside the case go for A16 then ,,, surely no regret and hassle for cooling issue,,,
