Understanding the design of the case in term of air flow and structure as well as component inside is the key of getting the right case ...

always look into air flow issue first ... as u can't go wrong with it ...

Yah it's good enough for general PC ... as long as not with very hot graphic card ...

the side fan would benefit CPU more ... so no problem for OC the CPU ..

tool less design are very good as well

nope it's for u to bring the cool air into the case and let the rear case fan and PSU fan to take it out ...

of couse u could have it mounted with ur own preference but it wont be that efficient as pulling air into the case for cooling ...

Yah but for the price of RM500 .. .hmm it's kind of expensive for such size that does not come with adiditional feature ...

further more cooling solution have to self prepare ...which is very limited to few choices ...

hmm.. i see i see... can you tell me what are the options for the cooling solution? I'm really newbie in this. Or is there another case that you would like to recommend? Main concern is that the case has to be black and well, looks good. Heheh.. biggrin.gif
*
If black is what u are looking for that would be easy..

Lian Li-V1000, V1100, A16, PC101, B20, V600 and A05..

it all depend on ur preference of appearance and hardware component inside ...

Added on April 16, 2007, 4:41 pmThen A16 will works for the budget range, it has lots of ventilations holes to keep the entire rig cool .... and reallocatable HDD cage ...

or

push up budget up to RM800 to grab V1000 series.

It has side patent fan that can be reversed to breath cool air to the 8800GTX, it help to keep the card cool down by 5c as compared to exhaust hot air out through the side patent fan ...

PCA10 is priced at RM798 from ATE of LYP ...

i owned the case before and not really satisfied with the design..

in the end sell it off and grab V1000A .. .

love it .. so much as much more easier to control the airflow ...

Nth as cheap as the promotion G7 ... others are PC7 at RM288 or S07 around RM300 as well...

other cases would cost more .. like V600 and A05 around RM360+..

then follow by RM5++ for the other cases..

Sure no problem, check out the case and feel it before deciding to buy it or not ..

QUOTE(oldfox @ Apr 17 2007, 12:28 PM)
Wow...
the V1000 air flow system seem like quite special
after i read up this casing at LianLi website
but i still can't understand the cashflow  sysyem is how =.=
*
acutally from the graph.. the rear intake will take cool air in and after passed through the CPU area and rise to the graphic card area and exhaust through the side patent fan.

while the bottom part will be intake for HDD till reach PSU for exhaust ...

QUOTE(alexlv @ Apr 17 2007, 01:23 PM)

if it does not why would so many enthusiast insist on using aluminum case ....

however the effect isn't that much different but weight itself is a plus point to own an aluminum case ...

Do remember that 1-3 degrees in temperature drop is not something that you should take lightly.

1-3 degrees of temperature drop is very high for me. thumbup.gif

That's why i choose Alu case. wub.gif
*
Yah same here, besides it always good to have aluminum case to store invested hardwares...

QUOTE(evilnickwong @ Apr 22 2007, 02:08 AM)
Aluminum cases being cooler than steel cases are a myth. That being said, it does feel alot nicer and you feel like you're getting the sort of quality you paid for.

But, steel cases have some advantages too:
1) Cheaper
2) Sturdier. Say what you want, but a steel chassis is less likely to vibrate/resonate/hum than an aluminum one. I hate the way my Lian Li panels can rattle, I had to remedy it with dampening material and velour strips.
*
It depend on which case that refers to, according to what i heard from ATE sales guys LL case can withstand a person weight up to 80KG standing on it ...
