QUOTE(sHawTY @ Apr 20 2007, 07:59 AM) The most important thing about using Aluminium casing would be: Yea, i agree on this. I could take the PC-7 casing easily with just one hand. But on the other hand, i am suffering when trying to take my older C5 with one hand..lol..Lightweight Take a sample of two casings that is on the same size, and the material is on the same thickness. One of them is using SECC material, and one of them is aluminium. Then compare the weight by yourself. There you'll see that aluminium cases are either half the weight of the SECC casing and the max would be 70% of the weight of an SECC chasis. Just my opinion though. Anyway, wondering would aluminum casing help in terms of providing better airflow/cooler air?Cause i have seen plenty of enclosure which uses aluminum as their material.. |

QUOTE(katunX @ May 1 2007, 11:52 AM) Aiseh, someone is bringing in LL in bulk order ke? I just got myself PC-60 Plus since it is within my budget....maybe next time can get V1000 ke... Yea, i saw the mod of the V600 by uncle ianho (MiniMe) if i not forgotten and it does seem like the PSU is blocking the processor HSF. But the V600 is indeed a beautiful case..And do v600 is good in term of practicality, since some people said that the PSU location will block something(ah, i forgot, is it HSF |

QUOTE(katunX @ May 1 2007, 02:30 PM) That's what exactly what I see and the ATE people told me, so I go for classical series instead, if wanna go for v1000 seems like over my budget already... Yea, i was there searching for the G7 as well last time out but opted for the PC-7 instead. Too bad i missed the promotion on the PC-60 as well cause if not, i rather spend another RM100 extra just for the accesories...I know a little bit too late about G7 though, i found out the pciture in Lian Li thread, a btter looking casing rather than normal look PC-60, if the bulk is a lil bit earlier maybe i will go for G7... |

QUOTE(katunX @ May 1 2007, 05:31 PM) i just got mine for RM398 including window side panel for PC-60, is it the normal price before? They said this is the promotion price including the side panel as I opt for the one without, they said only got with the window side panel... Yea, IIRC, they are giving away that side panel window FREE as promotion. Didnt notice it when i bought mine there. Really cheap price for a LL Anyway, the PC-60 is having a 8cm fan as exhaust right?Others exactly the same like PC-7? (Top - 8cm, Front - 12cm) |

QUOTE(Nemesis181188 @ May 10 2007, 09:25 PM) I would like to know,if there is any affordable quality casing that can fit 2 120mm fans one at the front and one at the back and also enough space for a 8800gtx. Well, the LL PC-7S does not original comes with 2 * 12cm fan for the front. Only one. But of course you can mod it or fit in a fan extension on the 5.25" panel...QUOTE(Nemesis181188 @ May 10 2007, 11:11 PM) No.It does not.You will need to get another side panel or mod it.. |

QUOTE(Doom @ Jun 10 2007, 02:29 PM) it depend on how hot it ur graphic card.... if it's like those crazy monster that consumed 100 watts or more then side fan is definitely a must.. for exp: 8800 series, X1900 series and up.. If its those uber hot monster like what you say, side panel fan is need to blow air towards the GC or suck air out?if it's not too hot and the gc has a decent cooler that could dissipate heat in very short of time... then side fan may not be necessary .. |

And some shops are selling those CM casing together with PSU. Can we request to dont want the PSU? How much will it be deduct from the actual price? This post has been edited by akachester: Jun 11 2007, 02:25 PM |

QUOTE(AceCombat @ Jun 11 2007, 03:41 PM) mostly they will discount or "trade-in" the psu for rm50, RM50 only?Gosh..Is the bundle with CM the Extreme 430/350W one?Or some other more chaplang PSU?and anyone in lyn air-brushed his/her pc casing? The only one "branded" that are cheap enough so far is the Elite 331/330.Around RM130 but trying to excise my option here if there are plenty more.. |

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Jun 11 2007, 06:24 PM) for RM100 u definitely can't even get a coolermaster. however, there are a lot of "dunno what brand" casings that are about RM100. Which is why the CM Elite 331 is high on my list. Price in bulk sales are only about Rm130 AFAIK..Looking for other options only. Else, i just settle for it..lol.. |

QUOTE(Phoenixwunin @ Jun 13 2007, 11:43 AM) guys... need help again here Can the TJ08 fit those?I really doubt so..IIRC, its for M-ATX mobo only..I've finally managed to narrow down my choices to: Silverstone Temjin 08 & Lian-Li PC7S Now between these two.. please advice which one shud I take.. If mobo and gc should be taken into consideration.. then my mobo is Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 and my gc might be GeForce 8800GTX or HD2900XT. I'm looking for super good air-flow/cooling solution. |
