I think it's a bit hard to fork out a recommended PSU for you while getting the case from your list ..
Because u are running a good system with those nice hardwares that definitely required a good PSU to keep it healthy, I bet u don't want to screw up just for the sack of cutting PSU budget down ... U could live with even cheaper case temporary but don't get a least quality PSU ... Get power supply that cost about RM300 for peace in mind rather than afterward u gone through the hassle to buy a new PSU ... As for the case wise, if u could push up the budget a bit more then a CM Elite series is definitely could goes into ur purchase list ... btw why DDR2 667 not DDR 2 800 ?? |

ic .. then just forget about the ram ...
Performance won't be much different between the two speed fpr day t oday usage but it would be when u are gaming .. slight 2-3 fps in average ... better than none .. anyway back to the topic .. PSU wise u could choose these two: Silverstone ST506F 560W RM350, HEC Ace Power 480W RM290 or cheaper one that I tried before Enlight 550w RM310.. HEC is cheapest but it runs on dual 8cm fan and it's a bit noisy .. only a bit . .. while the other two run on single 12cm fan so pretty quiet .. but not close to silent .. |

That's the problem loh .. if anytime he gonna power up a faster graphic card .. that time go buy another PSU again ???
Look into future long use if one is not gonna upgrade often, and I'm sure he isn't the type that upgrade so often .. that's the best suggestion to secure his investment for now and coming year or two .. .a PSU could last 5 years men ,,,, |

yah like meno said, it's not worth of buying another one if u somehow ended upgrading a gc .. u never know..
That's why the best is to get a stable one, I used HEC Ace and Enlight .. Both are good enough and won't burn a hole in pocket.. |

If he's not a one, then it would be even more sensible to spent a bit more on PSU to ensure the stability and performance of the PC ...
Last thing u want is ur PSU to fail on u .. coz that would cost a lot to get a new one again .. since PSU price doesn't drops much from releases until end of the cycle. |

If u are at KL go have a visit to LYP to have a close view for any potential case u would like..
if u aren't at KL, to to bulk section to check it out .. Don't simply ask a question without specific concern. State ur requirement not just the budget only .. |

Size, additional feature and premium price pay to be different than ICute, PowerLogic and etc ..
Basically if u are looking into a case, size, airflow, flexibility, expandability, modification and aesthetic would be ur concern. Price tag comes last to balance off all ur requirements.. |

There's CM690 ... one of the latest releases ..
got both good and bad points ... but overall one of the best casing they ever make... but overall I would recommend u to get Lian Li or Gigabyte for better choice of Mid tower case ... they have more to offer when comes to airflow, quietness and configuration ... |

Push up ur budget a bit to RM238 and get a full aluminum case that is light weight and has good airflow ...
Light weight would help you better in installing the hardwares or doing maintenance work. model: Lian Li PC-7S .. I bet BlessedVillain would agree with it ... right ?? |

V2000 is huge dude ... I can't imagine how big it was again when irangan throw it out from the box. ...
feels like anytime it would falls down and slam on anyone ... or anything .. For me I would prefer V1200 coz it maintains the sleek front panel looks without pushing the size extravaganza. Besides, why need such a big case when doing air cooling, I would rather do my water cooling in a V1200 so that it looks cute, sexy and cool ... |

@blessedvillain
Rest assure, I was so surprised with the amount of dust collected within my V1000 before after a week.. U know what, there's really not much ... some how That's why I loved the case so much and would said it's the best looking case with top cooling performance in one. Despite the HDD cage, everything was really sufficient from my point of view both cooling and ease of use.. and one thing about V-Series is cable management may be tough ... QUOTE(hoon @ Nov 20 2007, 12:20 AM) erm.. actually y choose aluminium casing better a..? cooler? or tougher? most of aluminum case is built with certain integrity level that it won't bent or dented easily. but light weight o... i thought ppl when buy casing like to get heavier one... However it is definitely slightly flimsy compared to high quality SECC case which usually are heavy as well .. The reason people said a case must be heavy to show quality because it some how reflects the thickness of the steel and the structure inside. However moving a case that weight more than 20 KGs is really killer heavy ,, especially for people that like to do cable management or swapping hardwares for testing ... |

SUGO-03 should do the job.
Two at the bottom, and one at the optical drive zone. |

Hmm it should be about RM540 if purchase locally, if u could try uglyvamp see whether would get a better deal.
It has good airflow with dual 12cm intake .. but no exhaust .. You could check out Uncle Ianho's GT40 thread to have a look of the case .. |

I think with ur scenario probably u could look for a slightly bigger case like Lian Li PC-A05 ...
It has better ventilation than those small babe... and definitely could handle three HDDs without problem. So u could just mod the top or the side for opening allowing more fresh air. and add a nice piece of handles for easier carrying ... |

It has a removable motherboard tray to mount the mobo before inserting into the case ...
It only could accommodate Micro atx mobo.. It does not able to fit gc that is longer than the mobo's width.. and the gc may not have cooler is wider than the card as well............ Pretty restrictive.. |

Which case that u are referring to is not good ???
if u want to run wc ... it would better not to get the case without tube opening. coz u would have to cut urself in the end ... |
