The umsbb.net site is a community service website especially meant to help new students coming to UMS -- I remember how lost I was when I first arrived in KK

Yah man, last year when I was packing in KL just before going to UMS, I was kinda lost because very little info on the net! I ended up without a room for a week, had to stay in a backpackers lodge. When I finally managed to get a HEP room, man it was in such bad shape I spent a whole day cleaning the damn room, scrubbing the walls and all -- really wanted to cry Oh, and if I had known I could take a bus from KK airport to city centre to UMS for only RM2, I would not have taken the taxi that cost me RM35  Live and lean huh 

Hopefully the next gen will be spared the pain Joe

where got HEP room per month... u pay 370/semester, so roughly 90 for roughly 4 months la...

waa... kesian u... jalan kaki frm KF... hui.. thats about 3km la... but good also... extra walking excercise

It makes me puke looking at those people going to hutan an stuff lol bcos  i so wanna go but im not sure how to organize a trip like that into the jungle?
whereas im a loner in wanting to go jungle trekking in my group or what
Ive been looking up danum valley
and im planning to go there
Plus im looking forward to climb sabah second highest mountain is the package pops up again. i dont mean to offend u seniors lol

Im just saying i could give a lame ass view of sabah and the typical places to go for freshies la
that shoudnt be hard right?

Or island hopping?

But sadly not at KK now......
