better consider other cooler like sunbeam ccf or xigmatek hdt 1283...hyper 212 performance not good enuf...

if u wanan oc, play e8400 lo

imho, big typhoon is better den hyper 212...and i really wouldnt consider getting hyper 212...

if u convert movies alot, take quaddie...gaming alot...take c2d

nope mine nt TX version...

btw wan ask.. the CPU TM function in cpu bios setttings of tpower i45 do i hav to disable it when OC? becoz if i enable it i can boot into windows without any prob @ 3.2GHZ on E6600 v1.328, but the multiplier tht shown in CPU-z will keep change.. sometimes 6 sometimes 8. SuperPI result is 19sec in 1m

But when i disable it, boot into vista seems hard to me.. when i successful boot to vista.. i check cpu-z and the multiplier FIXED smile.gif... and superPI reseult is 14sec in 1m.. but most of the time i cant boot into windows.. it stuck at the loading bar of vista..

so guys.. do i reli hav to disable the TM function when OC? or juzz let it ON? but if i enable TM function the performance seems weaker than TM disable.. giv some advise guys!! sad.gif

u can prevent the auto downclocking by disabling C1E and Intel Speedstep... TM or thermal management will downclock ur processor when the temperature goes too high.. instability of ur system will also affect the superpi results... hope that helps wink.gif

woo...been using this board for like 6 months. lol...now trying to learn how to OC this beast. But the C2D OC is too much diff from K8. LOL...i am a noob again.

any place to start looking for OC basic or guide for this board?
btw, can i run the ram at 1066Mhz (just OC the ram, rated at 5-5-5-18, 2.2V 1066mhz)) and leave the other settings untouched (think my proc speed is sufficient for now. tongue.gif)? i tried once but the system locked up, haha..have to clear CMOS to get a post. any tips for noob? thanks!
