iam with my new e85 today.....prev just with budget chip e52....ok now....to overclock over 400 fsb...should i bump up the voltage other than Vcore and Vdimm like FSB, NB, etc etc....? how much..?? now iam running 421x9.5 with default mobo voltage...so far stable

no i mean i want to go further wanna play 500fsb mark....what else should i bump up..??

now im with 421x9.5=4Ghz 1.2v quite stable....i want something like 500fsbx9.5, other than Vcore and Vdimm what else should i bump to reach 500fsb...?

u start by playing with the vcore and vdimm 1st.. if unable to POST , try bumping some chipset voltage and vtt.. dont increase vtt too much as it will kill the proc..

never heard before vtt can kill proc....tq for the advise...

will try to OC futher, will post the result here....tq

my e86 needed 1.41vcore for 4.5ghz Orthos and IBT stable..

hahah.. 4.5ghz IBT temperature highest around 55C..

ayyak iam now stuck at 4Ghz...ram cannot go nimore....the wierd thing is my ram can go alot further wtih IP35 Abit Mobo....with this mobo just 900Mhz windows corrupt edy...thank god after i reset the bios it went back to normal, if not sure gonna waste my time reinstall windows...

iam using XMS2 rams, anybody got clue...??

hmm.. maybe ur ram doesn't have enough voltage try increasing ur vdimm a little.. what vcore are u running?..

*just my 2cent experience*

after i play around with my bois....i try to disable the Enhance DDR2 and boot it up again at 900Mhz...voila...its alive...the "Enhance DDR2 enable: is the culprit here...now iam with 4.3Ghz 1.275v....but phail at 9 hours Orthos priority 10 T_T....iam not planning on bumping anymore voltage as the temp oledy reach 64-65 mark.......i wonder if Orthos priority10 is too much....

don't enable those enhance thingy.. try IBT if u want a faster way to check for stability..

IBT cannot woo...my temp oledy touch 68-69 mark with just orthos....guest i got a hot e85 batch.....the voltage doesnt pass 1.3 yet temp nearly 70 edy...haiz...im using Xigmatek S1283RS btw hot hot hot...there go my 4.5 Dream.....T_T

hmm.. i guess thats the limit of ur cooler.. btw there isnt much diff between 4.3ghz and 4.5ghz... at least for me...

dontchu guys think when using this mobo, your cpu temp are gonna be high.....i realize this when i swap my e52 to my ip35e mobo using the same voltage....the temp drop like 3-5*c liddat la....

i'm using x3320 and want to know if i'm trageting to oc to 3.4ghz and above, whats the thing that i need to inc..?

hmm.. same temp to me as with my foxconn mars.. maybe some miscalibration on either mobo sensor..

vcore and some vdimm.. and adjusting the gtl ref voltage..

You need 454FSB or so that mean you need to tweak vcore,vmch,vtt and gtl ref nicely
T Power i tested to max brute force method on Q6600 is 430FSB or so,never try more
