may i ask you all something! how we know the vvl is active 2 times when driving? some people said cannot hear the cam profile switch to vvl! some video in america when the vvl kick in the sound will change!! then how u know ur car is open 2 times or 1 times.. if not go to dyno then how to feel it? thanx

my engine also got 2 kick in when i saw tat nissan forum!! my version is 1999 sr20vvl if after the 2001 is sr20ve (204hp). my only 190hp only..

i saw so many video they kick in also 1 only.. like when the sound is change only 1 times!! my foreman said is just on tat time air come in so fast then the vvl open many people think is 2 times.. the real 1 is the sound change like vtec is a real vvl active...

my car this week will go to drop in the engine so need 2 week so now research some info when test car got problem can ask him repair...

yup!! but in nismoclub all the people said kick in 2 times if 1 times mean ur wyring got problem... my foreman still not help me install la.. he delay me until monday bzos there so many car let him do n he just 1 person work....

On the SR20VE the intake camshaft is switched at 5000rpm, and the exhaust at 6500rpm

so tat mean is 2 times u can hear 2 times sound kick in im right... bzos many people said can feel 2 times.. dont know is real or not real..

vanquish u driving sr16vvl u can feel 1 times? at 5600rpm u try go until 7200rpm u can hear 2nd time if i not wrong bzos tat 2nd times need high rev.. or u already using emanage to set the vvl active in 1 times with the intake camsalf with exhaust!!!
sr20vet got people install liau at nismoclub.. with sr20vet 280hp kick in 2 times... intake camsalf + exhasut + turbo...

but normal sr16vvl is 2times woh.. is it ur wyring got problem... no need until 8000rpm also feel the 2nd kick in liau if u using sr16vvl
1st in 5500rpm 2nd is about 7500rpm..
if i not wrong la...

so now i scare i also same like u 1 kick in only...
if got problem must go to shah alam find the KSR workshop specialist in Nissan modification

yup is limited edition but in kl area if i njot wrong at least got 2 or 3 people got tat engine..
