Whao, which shop did you got your phone from? Mind sharing?
My experience with no gateway is when the 'settings' are using a same name. For eg. belkin, and all the others, coincidentally are belkin as well, but they actually uses different passwords. Bad network coverage (if there's only 1 bar for the WLAN signal) can cause some issue too. On and off it will disconnect itself. I would say best if you can get a Geeky Guru besides you when you test it out, see if he/she can shed some lights. Good luck! My 2 cents, re-install/re-flash the firmware via your dealer, it could be a corrupted installation.
QUOTE(Mirac|e @ Dec 15 2008, 01:48 PM) Hi guys, Just got an E71 last week. Everything is fine except that I occasionally get a "dead" screen while tryin 2 lock the phone. The screen freezes, and if you press the Menu key, it will jst stay frozen at the main screen. Anyone has this problem? Also if I access the menu, and quickly scroll left to "Media", it will tend to bouce back to "Tools". Any ideas how 2 solve it? |

Better, if it is AVAXX set, you should show the crew there what happened.
It shall be roughly around 1 hour for what I've been, was facing firmware problem the first time I bought mine. GPS lock-on speed-up needs the following to be meet: 1. Static, not moving (yeah, you need to stay still, ha ha ha.) 2. A-GPS on (costly at times) 3. Clear sky (preferably) It can be as fast as 10seconds or as slow as never depends on individual condition. QUOTE(Mirac|e @ Dec 15 2008, 03:02 PM) thanks pxd, how long u reckon this takes? And if i'm gonna flash it, i might as well not transfer my phonebook jst yet. i'm jst wondering if its better to take it to the dealer i bought it from or Nokia itself since i'm having an avaxx set. Secondly, my GPS takes awufully long to get a lock-on. like more than 10mins i think.. anyone facing the same problem? |
