hey regarding this position, is it necessary to have experience as mentioned in the JD like oracle and etc..how many years experience do u have? do they provide training? how is the job?

in the JD its mentioned Familiar with SQL under Oracle for at least 3 years
i use SQL but not under oracle..please respond

Hey guys, I just got called for an interview for the post "Fund Accountant / Trade Capture"

Honestly, what do they do? If it is like calculating NAV, entering data and stuff like that... then I dont really want to waste my time going all the way to CyberJaya

I though I would do something related to investment banking but judging by the replies and title post, I guess not.

Anyone mind to enlighten me? And how is the pay like for this post?

how long did u wait for their offer after attended 2nd interview?im still waiting for the call..

ya...is calculating NAV on daily basis... is kinda repetitive...but THE PAY IS GOOD

but i have turned it down...

basically it is back end operation work... not really involves fund management... but i can see the people thr is kinda frenly especially the angmo

hmm..its de shift work tat matter.... everything ve to based on the country u assigned with n my senior told me that over long term i cant learn much...

somemore tat time they offer me i have some interview haven attend...but once i sign i will ve to give 2 mths notice even under probation...

so i sked i will lost the opportunity to join other firm that i really interested with...

but the co benefits n perks is good compared to others

How long are we bound to the company if we signed the contract, even if it's under probation?

Work before at securities co under BSKL as assistant dealer in trading dept serving these country (Singapore, HK, Japan, US, UK, Switzerland) for nearly 2 yrs. Is it consider as having some experience in securities?

is their requirement high? my fren went there interview b4 n said that even the security guard there speak terror english. hehe...

I have also been called for Trade Capture Position.

The job profile says need knowledge in investment products & market conditions. What are we supposed to know? I do not come from an investment background.

Also, I see some people commenting "competitive salary". Any chance of giving a range of the salary? Competitive salary for you may be different for others.

Also, anyone attended the interview for this before? Please do share your experience, what kind of questions did they ask you? What is the process for recruitment? Is it just 2 interview stages? Are there any tests?

Appreciate some input instead of everyone just guessing.

ex-employee..you won't learn much and its purely data entry job.there's ntg much to learn and everyday going in to do data entry, keying numbers and data thats all. many ppl left the coy within 6 months-1 year.

alot of politics and personal issues at the company. all the chinese left the comp very fast enough. bias and unfair ...
